Resident Evil 6 can't be as bad as everyone says right?
On Christmas Eve 2012, Division of Security Operations (DSO) agentĀ Sherry Birkin is sent to recruit Jake Muller to help stop the newly developed C-virus. Meanwhile Bio-terrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA) agents Chris Redfield and Piers Nivans lead a team to deal with the infected population, but Ada Wong shows up and kills their strike team. Chris feeling overwhelming guilt, goes into exile while developing post-traumatic amnesia, while Sherry and Jake crash land into the mountains and are then captured by Ada.
Leon, this thing is huge
Six months later, President Adam Benford is ready to tell the world what really happened with Racoon City, but before he gets the chance to, the venue is attacked and the president is infected. DSO agent Leon Kennedy and Secret Service agent Helena Harper are forced to take him out. When escaping the venue, Ada shows up and tells them that National Security Advisor Simmons is associated with Neo-Umbrella and is the one responsible. Leon and Helena go after Simmons after faking their own deaths to not cause suspicion.
Chris, who is slowly recovering and remembering what happened, and Piers go after Ada with a new BSAA team. They track Ada to China and have her corned, until Leon intervenes. Chris and Piers go after Ada at an aircraft carrier filled with missiles containing the C-virus. Leon meanwhile regroups with Helena and a newly escaped Sherry and Jake to confront Simmons. Sherry secretly gives Leon a copy of her data on Jake in case they’re captured again. Simmons admits to his part, but soon mutates due to the C-virus he’s infected with. Sherry and Jake are captured, while Leon and Helena kill Simmons with the help of Ada.
Chris, Piers, now is not the time to pose for the BSAA calendar.
Chris informs Leon and Helena that a missile was launched that contains the C-virus and will cause an outbreak in the heart of the city. He also regretfully tells Leon that Ada was shot as he was trying to apprehend her. Leon tells Chris that Jake is important to stopping the C-virus as he’s Albert Wesker’s son and his genetically modified blood is the only thing that can create a vaccine.
Chris and Piers get to where Sherry and Jake are being held and then go off to prevent an even bigger attack from happening. Piers, being severely injured, injects himself with the C-virus to save Chris and then sacrifices himself to ensure Chris’ safety, meanwhile Jake and Sherry escape the facility on an elevator.
All right Ada, me and you, let's clear your name.
Carla Radames was a researcher and worked for Simmons to create bio-organic weapons, including the C-virus. Simmons was infatuated with Ada, however and had tried time and again to replicate her, but failed every time. He discovered the only one that could be a perfect match was Carla and he used her to create an Ada clone. Her memory was wiped and all the memories that remained were Ada’s. She went on to found Neo-Umbrella and ran it until her untimely death while Chris was attempting to apprehend her. The real Ada stood over her body on the aircraft carrier when suddenly Carla was reborn and not going down without a fight. Ada found a way to temporarily stop her long enough to accept another job and escape the doomed carrier via helicopter.
Having stopped the C-virus, Leon and Helena were cleared for active duty once again while Chris remained with the BSAA in charge of a new team. Sherry is still a DSO agent and convinced Jake to start a new life fighting bioweapons.
