Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight is a asymmetric multiplayer survival horror game developed and published by Behaviour Interactive. Initially Starbreeze Studios was the publisher of the game, until 2018 when Behaviour Interactive bought the publishing rights back. 505 Games publishes the Nintendo Switch version of the game and Deep Silver published physical copies for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X. The game was released on June 14, 2016 for Microsoft Windows. On June 20, 2017, it was released for Xbox One and Playstation 4. Nintendo Switch got the game on September 24, 2019. October 1, 2020 saw it released on the Stadia. An Xbox Series X/S version was released on November 10, 2020 and two days later, a Playstation 5 version came out. There is also a mobile version of Dead by Daylight published by NetEase Games that for the most part is the same game, but there is no crossplay with the core game.

In Dead by Daylight you play as either a survivor or a killer. As a survivor your main objective is to do generators, open a door, and escape the trial. Get hooked 3 times and you are sacrificed to an ancient being known only as The Entity. As killer, your main objective is to do just that- kill. Your main goal is to kill all of he survivors in the trial anyway you can. There are numerous original survivors and killers to choose from, but there are also known characters from all across the multiverse. The Entity can travel to any universe on any timeline and bring in beings from that world. It has brought in Ellen Ripley and a Xenomorph from Alien, Steve, Nancy, and a Demogorgon from Stranger Things, Michael Myers and Laurie Strode from Halloween, as well as many other recognizable characters.
