So I have been pricing everything I will need and also been measuring the space that I would need to use for the computer, which isn’t much, the case will pretty much stay where it is with the LCD above it. The problem is that where the monitor goes always seems to have a lot of stuff on it, so hopefully that will change, or maybe I can get a swing arm for it for a reasonable price, though that is something that I will need to look into while in New York when I can run into Microcenter and Best Buy, but so far the cheapest I can find is $40, which is more than I would want to spend so it may just not happen.

I fully support stem cell research, whether it comes from a dead fetus (miscarried or aborted) or from an umbilical cord of a new born baby. I think that there are a lot of Cryo-Cell Innovative Stem Cell Solutions out there that are just waiting to be discovered and I believe that we should be funding this either way. Yes it sucks that a fetus is dead for whatever reason, but isn’t it better to use it for something much bigger than itself if it could help someone than just throwing it away?

So in the coming weeks I will be heading to New York and while I am there I am going to price some things that I would need to build an in house server that will also be used to capture video from my XBox 360. I am going to have to check out what I need before hand, but I have a pretty good idea, and so far my guess is that it is going to cost me less than twenty dollars because I have most of the things. All I really need is an RCA female to female gender changer, or whatever it is called, then I should be in business.

I have been in a few car accidents, some were my fault and some weren’t. When I need to get body work done for my car though, I am going to be going to to a place like auto body anaheim if I ever need to get my car fixed due to an accident. They work with your insurance so you may not end up paying them anything to fix your vehicle. I hope I can find a place like that down here.

I am trying to put music on my iPod using Media Monkey, but it isn’t working. I hate iTunes, especially on this computer, when I get a Mac I might use iTunes because I don’t know if Media Monkey would be available. I do not know when or how I will be affording this Mac, and I don’t know if Krissy would let me turn this computer into a server (considering it really is her computer), but maybe by the time that comes I could buy a big Mac and have the extra hard drives in it and I wouldn’t need to use this as a file server, instead make it a web server and get a T1 line. I would need all the businesses to be booming for that to happen though.

I don’t really do much heavy cleaning, Krissy handles most of that. When the office gets dirty I will clean it up, but I never go into full cleaning mode, I don’t have the energy to do that, Krissy does though. She is anal retentive though, everything has to be clean for her to be at ease, she can’t just shut the door and forget about it, she needs to clean it before she can forget about it. I don’t really understand it, but all the more power to her for having the drive to clean like that.

She cleans so much that we need a new vaccuum. We have looked into a lot of them, and have pretty much narrowed it down to a Dirt Devil. They have good suction and they are Energy Star , so we won’t be using much electricity when we run it. That is definitely a good thing with the electric company charging so much down here, we need all the extra money to put gas in the car. Either way, we will probabkly be picking a new vacuum up sometime this week, which is good because I need to vacuum the office, Bella got her bnone fragments all over the place.

I have been searching Ebay looking at Macs/ I never really liked them before, but after seeing how much the shell is like Unix and seeing how reliable Krissy’s is, I want one. I have found a couple online, the problem is that I can’t afford them.Maybe after everything is done, by the end of the year I might have one, though with Krissy looking for a car I doubt it. I guess I will have to pay off hers and then buy one for me.

I have been looking at Citizen watches lately. I really want a watch, I don’t have a cellphone so when I am out I have no idea what time it is. I don’t remember the last time I had a watch, it has probably been over ten years since I had a watch. If Eli Manning can be an ambassador for Citizen watches then I could be persuaded into buying one. The other ambassadors I haven’t heard of, but that is mainly because I don’t watch many sports. Either way I just know I want a Citizen watch, maybe I can convince Krissy that I should have one.

The few weeks without my Xbox 360 has me playing my Wii a lot more. Now they say all you need to do with a Wii is move your wrist, especially when playing the tennis game, but I swing my whole arm and really get into it. If Krissy and I go at it full force it can get very tiring and that is just playing a game. If it were real tennis with running and actually hitting a real ball then I don’t think we would be able to last ten minutes.

We watched a couple of tennis matches on television since getting back into the Wii Sports. It doesn’t look easy what they do, and only the best of them go on to Wimbledon. Maybe one day I will be able to get to Wimbledon, not by playing of course, but by buying Wimbledon tickets. Of course by playing would be cool too, but with my knee, I don’t think I could ever play one match as good as they do, let alone a whole bunch of games. Like I said though maybe one day we will go and watch Wimbledon live and when that day comes I will be sure to write about it here.

My 360 showed up yesterday, and late last night (early this morning) I plugged it in just to play some Halo. I had been playing Grand Theft Auto so much before I sent it back that I felt that I needed to go back to my XBox roots and put in some time on Halo 3. Plus it doesn’t help that I had been watching Red Vs Blue and trying to think of ways to have my own Machinima series. Maybe one day when you come here you’ll see a video of a new internet series, but for right now I don’t know. It isn’t that I have no ideas, it is that I don’t have the time right now to put them all down and try and figure out if each one would work and if they could be strewn together for a series.

The show is about two marshals who enlist people in the witness protection program and help them with their new life and leaving their old life behind. It is called In Plain Sight because where better to hide someone than right in the middle of where a busy city? A spy is taught to hide in the most inconspicuous place possible, right in front of people. The picture I put up above is somewhere on their website, see if you can find it. It is right in front of your eyes so let’s see if you can find it easily or if it takes you a minute or two.

I think it is the lack of an Xbox that is making me want to play video games so bad that a PS3 doesn’t look that bad. I mean I know I would play Metal Gear Solid 4 and Warhawk on it, possibly Unreal Tournament if it doesn’t come out for the XBox soon, but other than that there aren’t any other games I would play. Of course I could always use it for Blu-Ray DVDs, I would just need to replace some of my favorite movies with Blu-Ray versions.
