Working from home I hardly ever have to wake up early or be anywhere at an early time. I haven’t really had to be anywhere early on a regular basis for over a year. I remember when I had to be up at 6AM to be somewhere at 6:30 or 7, sometimes I would hit the snooze and then I wouldn’t have enough time to make it into the shower before I had to leave. I don’t know about other people, but if I don’t shower for a day my hair gets oily and I feel disgusting the rest of the day.
I didn’t know that they had dry shampoo for when you don’t have time to shower. Personally I have never used it, but if it works the way it is supposed to work then I wouldn’t have felt have as disgusting if I had used it. I sometimes just feel lazy and I don’t shower everyday, especially on those days when I don’t really feel like doing much, like today.
Because I didn’t shower today, it goes without saying that I didn’t shampoo my hair either, so it is a bit oily. Now if I had some powder shampoo I could throw it on my head and be fine. I think I might get some for the down days.
I cannot lie, I absolutely cannot leave my house without showering. Sometimes if I’m running late, I just call my boss and tell him I’m going to be late! Honestly, showers wake me up in the morning so it’s also very mandatory for me to take one. Besides, I’m a female, females should bathe everyday!
Dry shampoo sounds a bit weird, but it would be something I’d try out on days I’d like to take a quick shower but don’t feel like having to deal with washing my hair.
