Easy Money

I am all for making some easy money. What better way to make easy money than by gambling? We are going to Atlantic City this weekend so hopefully I will win some money up there. Atlantic City is fine if you want to bet on slots and card games, but I like betting on sports. Football to be precise. With football betting, it is pretty much a matter of knowing which team is better and placing all your money on that team for an amount you think they will win by. When I do pools, I sometimes place a relatively small amount on a team that I don’t think will win, in the small chance that they will win and the payout will be a lot more than I put out for that team. It usually doesn’t play out that well, but sometimes that one bad team may surprise you, and it could be a big payout.

Video Works

I have been able to successfully transfer videos from my camcorder to my computer. I am apprehensive as to whether or not I will be keeping the camcorder, or any camcorder. I need to buy a new computer eventually and with the trip this weekend, I don’t know if I want to spend money on a camcorder or bank it and buy a computer. Maybe I will get lucky and win some money this weekend so I can buy both.

We Need Clocks

We need more clocks in the house. The problem with clocks is that for the most part they are boring. that is why I want a grandfather clock. Everyone else tells me I am crazy and that grandfather clocks are old fashioned. I think they are cool though. A grandfather clock, especially a new one looks like you have money and class. Everyone wants to look like they have money right?

I wouldn’t want just any grandfather clock, I would want a Howard Miller Grandfather Clock. Howard Miller Grandfather Clocks are the coolest and most modern looking clocks out there. I have a thing for modern furniture, things that look like it is from the future, but available today.

We don’t even need to get a grandfather cloc, even some more wall clocks will do the job. Either way we just need some clocks in the house. I don’t care if we put up alarm clocks at this point, although digital alarm clocks would be easier to read, we just need some clocks. I would really like some cool looking ones though, that is the most important thing to me, form over function, although as long as it works as a clock, that is the most important thing, right?

Bye Bye Computer

My computer crapped out on me today. I believe it was a problem between my motherboard and my graphics card. I had been trying to get better drivers for the graphics card for a few days, but it finally just died. I don’t have a spare graphics card and I don’t want to be buying a computer right now. Krissy decided to give me her computer on the condition that I give her her Christmas present early. I bought her a 20″ iMac. She is happy, and I am a little pissed off, but at least I can get some work done.

Russian Brides

I knew someone who had a "mail order bride". They were my father’s tenant. It isn’t what you must be thinking, she wasn’t desparate for a green card and he wasn’t just desperate. She came over here and they hit it off, he then went through an agency to get her back here. Russian women brides have a bad reputation, as do the men who have them. A lot of times things don’t work out, but sometimes the two people just click and things work out for them. If two people find love, then why does it matter how they meet, or what circumstances brought them together you know?

Sun Catchers

Krissy and I just painted sun catchers. I don’t know if that is going to be one our holiday traditions because I don’t like handling things that require such care when painting, but it was all right. When we go to Atlantic City we are going to be taking a picture and hanging it on the tree and that is going to be one of our traditions, we decided. I am going to be going tomorrow and getting the PCI card I need so I can test the camera and if it works, I might return it and get the other one that I had returned previously. I liked the other one, it had a slot for an SD card, a light for filming in darkness, and it had a USB port. I am not really liking this one I have, it has none of those and it is awkward to hold.

I want an SUV

I have been looking into Auto Financing Loans because as much as I love my car, I would love an SUV even better. I know they don’t get good gas mileage, but it would be a lot easier to get in and out of, plus it would be much easier to drive extended periods of time, like if I go to Florida or when we go up to New York. For now though I think I am going to have to deal with having my car, considering I can’t afford a new one and it isn’t like I need one right now.

Presents Under the Tree

I feel bad, I got Krissy a couple of big ticket gifts and a Christmas Tree this year, but she got me a bunch of little things. I still need to wrap her gifts and get them under the tree. I hate wrapping gifts though, everything comes out oddly shaped and looks like a 5 year old wrapped it. I think it is inherited though because my brother wraps the same way.

Workout Routines

I have been trying to get in shape lately. A few times a week I go down to the gym and do some weight lifting and jogging, but I have always been confused and unsure of how I should be doing it. I recently found a site that has excellent workout routines so I am going to be using that as a guide for what I should be doing and how I should be doing it. Hopefully after the holidays I will be able to get in serious shape, I doubt anything will happen before hand because of all the holiday meals.

Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack

New maps for Halo 3 come out next week. I will be buying them as soon as they become available. I am most excited about Foundry, which is built almost exclusively for Forge. Most things in there can either be added or removed using the Forge map editor. I think something like that could have endless possibilities. Hopefully the new maps have a Rocket Race playlist.

NameYourLoan.com

Are you looking for a mortgage, but want the best possible rate? With NameYourLoan, America's 1st Online Mortgage Auction banks will compete for your business. Unlike a regular auction, banks compete with lower and lower prices so that you are sure to get the best deal. Read the official press release of the site:

NameYourLoan Diversifies Current Lending Environment for Borrowers with New Approach to Online Mortgage Loans.

New online mortgage auction site, NameYourLoan, has revolutionized the way borrowers obtain mortgage loans online. As a unique and creative online community, borrowers can easily connect with the best mortgage lenders while lenders benefit from a wealth of real time mortgage leads and opportunities for business growth.

(PRWEB) – In today’s tough lending environment, littered with deceitful lenders and cunning tactics, it’s high time for a revolutionary tool that can empower borrowers yet still benefit lenders. NameYourLoan has answered the need with the launch of a new online mortgage auction site designed to give consumers access to an increasing mortgage lenders network to ultimately obtain great online mortgage loans.
“For centuries, auctions have been the most efficient and effective way to get the best deals in everything,” says Al Salahi, President and CEO of NameYourLoan. “Why not have auctions for all mortgage loan types?”
NameYourLoan is an online community where borrowers can easily connect with the best mortgage lenders. Lenders compete with one another in an online auction to win the borrower’s business. As numerous lenders submit loan offers, the site enables consumers to see “apples to apples”, compare mortgage interest rates and achieve the lowest rate mortgage online such as the best home equity loan rate or home refinance loan.
The site’s sophisticated computer system compiles and calculates all the information submitted by lenders (interest rates, points, fees, terms, etc.) and then ranks loan offers, based on their true worth relative to the borrower’s stated preferences (lowest rate, lowest fees or best combination of rates and fees). This simplified process gives borrowers a coherent presentation of information without having to do the math themselves.
Unlike other online mortgage comparison shopping services, only those lenders who come out at the top of the auction with the lowest interest rates and fees get a chance at the borrower’s business. Moreover, borrowers can invite their friend or relative lender to participate in the borrower’s auction quickly and without cost. Lenders who refuse to participate are most likely high priced and not the best mortgage lenders.
“Through advanced technology, we are starting to make haggling and deceptive lending tactics a thing of the past,” explains Salahi. “At the same time, we are transforming a generally stressful and complicated process into a very pleasant and easy experience for borrowers. Our multiple bid auction format, coupled with constant consumer feedback, will make it easy for us to weed out dishonest lenders—and hopefully put them out of business!”
Use of NameYourLoan is completely free for borrowers. Borrowers are under no obligation to accept any of the online mortgage loans offered in the auction. To protect against identity theft and fraud, site users are never asked for sensitive information, and lenders that receive multiple consumer complaints will be barred from future auctions.
For more information, visit NameYourLoan.
About NameYourLoan:
NameYourLoan is the world’s first online mortgage auction, designed to advance the lending process by helping honest and competitive lenders grow their business, and at the same time, make it possible for borrowers to instantaneously reach multiple lenders and receive competitive loan offers online, in an auction format. NameYourLoan uses a patent-pending concept powered by sophisticated proprietary software that has been developed by a number of technology heavyweights from the Fortune 500 arena.

Need Answers

I have work that I need to do, but there are answers that I need before I can continue. There are things that I could be doing, but I would rather not start then stop when I get to the point of needing the answer only to move onto something else stop when I get to a point where I need an answer then move onto another point and get the answers and go back and remember what I was doing in those other spots. I am only waiting on a handful of answers, so I should be able to get started tonight and then go all the way through and finish it up rather quickly.
