Since about 2 o’clock I have been on Myspace sending requests and messages and comments. This Myspace marketing might be working out better than I thought, I had over 100 ads to approve on Adbrite. Now I just need Dreamweaver to work properly so I can get to work. The computer froze last night when I was installing CS3, so I need to reinstall it. It sucks, but it will be worth it in the end. I might just boot up Dreamweaver 8 to do some work for now though, as this is still uninstalling and it is taking forever.

Krissy has been teaching me how to play backgammon. I am very confused when it comes to the game, but I think I am getting better. I have played a couple of games of backgammon online, but I lost every game that I have played. It sucks, but at least I can admire how the online backgammon website looks. It is a good mix of form and function, so even though I am losing I can still look at the nice design. It doesn’t make up for the losing, but at least I can look and enjoy.

Has it really been over 24 hours since I last posted an entry? I think it has. I wish I could say that for the last 36 hours or so I have been relaxing, but I haven’t. Work has kept me pretty busy and will keep me pretty busy probably up until around New Year’s. It sucks that I have to be working so hard, but I am trying to get everything done before January. At this pace I should be able to, there are a lot of things that need to be done, but they are little things, I just need more hours in a day to get them all done.

I might be marketing my website out through Myspace, but if I ever want to make some serious money I think I am going to need to market it bigger. I can’t afford it right now, plus I would need to expand it to the point of where I would like first, but if I ever get to that point then I might take out a Small Business Line of Credit. With Small Business Lines of Credit I can afford to get everything I want done to the site, like better marketing and my own server. There is always so much I wanted to do with my site, I just hope one day that I get to complete it.

My Myspace marketing idea for LepsLair is actually doing pretty well. I have over 1300 friends and I am adding more everyday. Of course I am trying to add real people and filter out the add me whores and the bots, but other than that things are going well. I am getting my website out there to people who wouldn’t necessarily find it and I am getting some interesting feedback on fanlistings and stuff, so it is a good thing. I am also meeting some interesting people, to say the least.

I am lucky. I have found someone who I want to spend the rest of my life with. I know I am lucky, don’t get me wrong, I miss being single as much as the next guy, but when that time comes I just think about when I was single. I think about all the bad dates and all the strange things that happened while on those said dates. Being single isn’t all about hookups and random parties like most people remember. If you are in a relationship think back to when you were single. Think about the dates you went on. Would you really want to be single again, honestly?

Finding people isn’t easy, but it doesn’t have to be as hard as going to a party and hoping you find someone that you connect with, only to find out that after weeks, possibly months of dating, that you two are incompatible. You can try a chat lines. A chat line is when you use a phone chat to find someone you want to go out with. Some of them offer free free chat, while others make you pay. You should try one with a free chat, what do you have to lose?

After the trip to Atlantic City and Christmas, money is tight. I am working my ass off doing anything I can to earn some extra money. It sucks because I would have been doing fine with money until Google screwed everyone who posted paid links, but I don’t hold a grudge. Someone warned me a long time ago about Google, I just didn’t listen. Even if I did listen, what was I going to do? Google may be a asshole of a company, but what was I going to do? Everyone relies on Page Rank, it isn’t like I could go above it or to a different medium, Alexa doesn’t mean anything anymore, everything is Google, Google, Google. I wonder if anyone bring the giant G down?

When in comes to advertising your site, paying for advertising could actually end up hurting you. Google has recently punished anyone who had paid links on their site by knocking them down in Page Rank. In turn the advertiser who thought they were paying for a link on a PR5 now gets a link on a PR2. Of course this doesn’t affect anyone using Google’s advertising system.

There is also Yahoo, but their advertising program is still in a beta and there is no telling when that will even be open to the public. It has been in beta for over a year and I haven’t seen any signs of it coming out of the beta.

You do not need to rely on those two though. Let the giants cancel each other out, go with someone who is for the little guy, go with Adknowledge . Over 50,000 advertisers have used the Adknowledge BidSystem and they are growing every day. If you go with them you can get $50 in FREE PPC Advertising and at prices that are up to 30% cheaper than Google and Yahoo this is definitely a bargain. If you want to advertise your site you want someone who is going to be there for you when you are starting out, $50 free PPC advertising shows that they are looking out for the little guy, as well as the big guy.

I have made some videos and have also edited them with Windows Media Player. It isn’t the best editing software, but I haven’t gotten around to installing the Adobe CS3 suite on this computer yet. Things are different on this computer, for example I no longer have my music on it, it is on another drive that I haven’t been able to put in the computer, I also don’t have a real sound card, instead I have one that is attached to the motherboard. I would hook mine up to it, but there aren’t that many PCI slots and right now the PCI slots are both being used. I used to have a full motherboard, complete with five PCI slots. I will have them again one day, just not right now.

I have always loved the snow. Growing up in New Jersey, we would get snow, but it was never really enough for me. I always envied people who lived in upstate New York or Pennsylvania who got a few feet of snow each time it came down. That is one of the main reasons I was so set on moving to Ohio, because of the snow.

Krissy loves New York, who can blame her, she would want to live in the state though, if I was living in New York, then I would want an apartment in Manhattan. It doesn’t get much snow there, but it would definitely be great to live in the center of it all. Now we have been looking for places to live and we came across Buffalo, New York. It has snow, plus it is in New York, so that is something that she would love. I would love it too, anywhere in New York you can get good pizza.

If we were living in New York then it wouldn’t be too bad if we ever got married, her family already lives in New York and so does part of mine. My mother could just drive up for a few days and stay with her sister. A Buffalo Wedding would be pretty nice, especially if it was done on a day that it was lightly snowing, now that would look amazing in pictures.

I have been working my ass off today and I am still no where near where I want to be. The problem is that nobody has really done what I need to do so I am doing it from scratch and need to figure out how everything is going to work with everything else. It is really bothering me because I wanted to be so much farther along than I am at this point in December, but doing a half ass job and then having to go back and recode things isn’t my style, CSS and HTML can be fixed in the later stages, but PHP I need to make it work, as good as I possibly can with what I have to work with. Luckily what I have to work with is the latest version of PHP and MySQL.

I seem to be traveling a lot more than I used to. I get the feeling that my traveling will only increase as I get more money and things take off for me. I don’t think an infinite amount of money would keep me from trying to get good deals on rooms in hotels though. When I make Hotel Reservations I usually go through a website that will get me the best room I can afford for as cheap as possible. This way I can spend my money on other things like alcohol, gambling, dinner, flowers, anything that the trip calls for.
