I love New York. I am not talking about the state itself, I am talking more specifically the city. I may be living in the country and no one who has lived in the country their entire lives and haven’t gone anywhere else (like the people here) understand my fascination with the city, but if they could see New York one time in the holiday season, then they would understand.
There was a time a few years ago that I would take a train and travel in to Grand Central Station, one time in particular was during the Rockafeller Tree Lighting. I rode up and had to pass the Macy’s holiday window displays. They always do these amazing displays that takes almost nine months of planning, but it always turns out great. After that I walked along until I got to where I needed to be and was standing right in front of it. There isn’t anything like standing in front of that tree right when it is being lit. Yes there are tree lightings down here, but the tree isn’t as big and their is just some magic missing that New York seems to have.
I absolutely love New York City, but there are some places I haven’t been but I would love to go. The problem is that with the one way streets and tall buildings, everything is just so confusing. I would love to see all of the tourist attractions one day, using Trusted Tours and Attractions. What better way to see the major sights than with a professional touring company, especially when you sign up for a Trusted Travel eNewsletter, you are automatically entered to win an Ipod. After the tour though I would stop and get something that you can only get in New York, good pizza.
Don’t let other places fool you, New York is the birthplace of the pizza, and hence can do it the right way each and every time.
