I’d like to use my laptop more, but with these very bright days, you can barely see anything on an LCD screen. Also if I’m outside my battery dies within a couple of hours, so that is a pain. I’ve been thinking about buying a new Hewlett Packard Laptop Battery so I can be more mobile and not always on my desktop. I mean I don’t know if it would be good now, but definitely after I build the server, I’ll be able to access my files from anywhere and not have to worry about if I have everything I need on the laptop. Maybe I’ll buy two, this way I have a backup in case I am away from an outlet for a long time.

I have an iBook and the battery on that is pretty good.
I have the brightness problem when I take it outside in the sun too – you just can’t see anything at all! I have to position myself ‘just-so’ so that I can see the screen somewhat reasonably.
My battery is god awful, i should really consider getting a new one as well… It seriously lasts less than two hours. wtf???
