Tamashika is a first-person shooter developed by Quicktequila. The game was published by EDGLRD on April 10, 2026 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows, XBOX One, and XBOX Series X/S. Tamashika is part of Play Anywhere, which means if you own it on XBOX, then you can play it on XBOX PC. I played the XBOX PC version of the game and streamed it on July 23, 2026.
Tamashika Gameplay
The game has you playing as an unnamed character running through a maze armed only with a pistol and a tant?. The game features a procedurally generated maze that changes daily, which means the map you beat today will not be the same one tomorrow. Every death sends you back to a checkpoint, and losing all three lives drops you back to the previous one. The game features hand-drawn animations. Good players could get through the game in 15 minutes or less. It took me two hours to get through the whole thing.
