I wish that I could bet at an online casino. It would save a lot of money than going to a vegas casino, or even an Atlantic City Casino. There would be no airfare or ferry costs and I could sign on whenever I wanted. I think I would be a lot more in the hole than I am now though. I don’t know we have been stuck lately and we have been trying to use a casino to get unstuck. We lost more than we won though, so it isn’t really helping. I think if the casino games weren’t so fun then we might be able to quit without losing so much though.

Adbrite changed their TOS recently and never notified me, or anyone for the matter. Now many companies feel that it is the user’s responsibility to check the TOS for changes, but according to a court it is the companies responsibility to notify changes in the TOS. They disabled my ads until they get around to reactivating them. I had to change the format because they failed to contact me. I am sure that I could sue and get compensation, but I won’t. I am just informing everybody of what happened and maybe helping someone who has a problem like this.

I hated writing term papers. I mean I like to write, don’t get me wrong, but writing about something that I have no interest in is completely boring. I would just BS a lot of my papers in high school and college and still get an A. I thought about getting online term papers, but I knew that if I did that then there was a possibility of getting on academic probation. I mean they are fine if you are just using them as examples, but if you are going to hand them in then it would be wrong. I mean if I had to write something that I had no clue about such as a Business Dissertation or a Finance Thesis then I might buy one to look over and make sure it is in the right format, but otherwise handing it in as your own work is wrong and can get you in a lot of trouble.

So 2008 just started and I am already brainstorming on how to make this the best year for Lep’s Lair and the best year for Lep. I have ideas for videos and picture blogs, plus I have a couple side projects that are nearing completion. The truth is that you will be hearing more of me than ever in the coming weeks and months. Here’s to the year of the Lep.

I want to play backgammon. Unfortunately I am not home so I have to resort to playing online backgammon. I have no problem playing backgammon online, but I am not that good at the game so playing it against others is embarrassing. I normally play against the computer back home, so playing with a wide range of skills is not only embarrassing but nerve racking. Every time the other person starts to win I want to throw the computer. It sucks!

Warner Brothers has officially dropped support for the HD-DVD format, making the Blu-Ray support stronger than ever. The war is far from over, but with support from Warner Brothers, Sony, 20th Century Fox, and Lionsgate, Blu-Ray looks to be gaining more and more speed. In all honesty, I would go out and buy a Playstation 3 if Blu-Ray is the winner, but I honestly doubt that we have heard the last of HD-DVD, afterall rumors are running rampant that the XBox360 is going to have a built in HD-DVD player version soon, which might boost sales of the format. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

I want to figure out a way that I can pay off my credit cards or pay less for them. I don’t think I owe enough to reconsolidate the amounts I owe, but if I could get a credit card and transfer the balance to the card then pay off the one card instead of three that would be great. Of course the minimum payment for that card would have to be pretty low, otherwise there wouldn’t be any point in doing that. At least I know that if I need to get a quick loan until I get paid again I can use payday loans. They have to be paid back by your next paycheck, but they are a great way to get a quick loan when you know you can pay it back quick.

I just watched Pirates of the Carribean for the first time. We are going to start watching the second one in a few minutes and then the last one we will watch tomorrow. I hadn’t seen any of them up until now and I have to say that it was good. A lot better than I had expected. Johnny Depp is a good actor and Orlando Bloom and him bounce off each other very nicely. If anyone hasn’t seen it (was I the last one?) then I suggest you watch it, it is a very good movie.

You always see fundraisers for high school sports teams. Why don’t people provide fundraising for something important like sending people to college, or building a homeless shelter in the town? I have thought about starting my own so that I could raise money and go back to school. I think that if it for a good cause then people might be more eager to give over money. Personally I don’t see a football team or any extra curricular activities being a good cause. It is more like a waste of time.

If I were to actually make a fundraiser to earn money for college then I would probably sell candy or raffle tickets. I could give away a television, but with a note in the rules in order for the television prize to be valid only if I receive over a certain amount of entries and / or a certain amount of money. I think it would work, I don’t even think I would need to embellish anything. If I just gave a short synopsis of my life then I might be able to bring in a decent amount of money. I don’t know if I would ever do that though, I would probably feel too bad and if I saw a donation box I would probably donate it to someone without a house or something.

My nephew, the one who has down syndrome and diabetes, had a stroke a few days ago. He is going in for an MRI on Monday to find out if in fact it was a stroke and see if there is any damage to the brain. I guess depending on how that test comes out is going to determine whether or not he can go home on Monday. I haven’t heard anything since yesterday, so I am assuming that he is doing the same, which said he was fine and acting like himself, so hopefully that is still the case.

I have talked many times about how I want to drive through every state and stop at some places that the locals love. For the most part there is a reason I want to visit each state, for instance I once knew a guy who came from Georgia. He always raved about Atlanta and all there is to do down there. I would definitely stop at the Coca Cola factory because I love Coke and would love to try some of the international flavors. Okay I need to comment back on people. I haven’t really kept up with it so I am going to try and do a lot today. After today I will attempt to keep up with the comments better. No promises though.
