I have taken Vicodin the last few days because I hurt my back moving the bed a few days ago. I just took one a few minutes ago and I am already feeling the effects. I just hope that by the time The Sarah Connor Chronicles comes on tonight I will be able to see straight. It will be the first time I am watching it in HD, so I am going to enjoy it. I just wish last week’s could have been seen in HD, afterall a post Apocolyptic future would look awesome in HD.
I like to have address stickers onhand. I can barely read my handwriting so I don’t expect anyone else to. In school I used to have to take the same test again and again because no one could read my handwriting. That’s why I like typing so much, it is faster, and I don’t have to worry about if people can read it. I don’t really like printing up envelopes so having the address labels on hand is great.
There is a site, Vistaprint that is offering a coupon for 75% off labels at checkout. To obtain this coupon, all you do is use the coupon code BlogAddress75. The address labels can get pretty expensive, so a 75% off coupon is a great deal. What I do is if I am constantly sending mail to someone, I order their address too, this way I don’t need to be writing it out all the time. I did that in middle school with a penn pal, it was easier than writing it out, and only cost a few dollars. With the price of stamps rising, having letters not get delivered because of unreadable handwriting is just stupid. I know right now I have about 30 address labels and I will be oprdering more once they run out.
I have a photo gallery installed, but I haven’t customized it or put any pictures in it yet. That is my next big thing to get done for Lep’s Lair, aside from more graphics in the Funbox. I have a few ideas for the Funbox too, I just need to have some time to actually open up Photoshop. I should be finished up with a new client either tonight or tomorrow, at which time I will sit down and maybe open Photoshop and see what I can come up with.
I loose a lot of money whenever I go up to Atlantic City. Between the pizza I buy, because it’s New Jersey pizza, the tips that I give, and the money I put into machines, I loose a lot of money. That is why I wish that online casinos were legal in the United States. I know some people are working for that to become the reality, but for right now I am stuck going to New Jersey if I want to really gamble and try and win something. I would love it if I could just sit and play in a virtual casino here, this way I am not spending money on food or tipping people. The casino games online are the same ones in the casino, just virtual, plus with more people all over the world playing, I believe that there is a better chance of you winning because the machines would get filled quicker.
I love the new HD receiver I have. I watched Lost in HD this week, plus I have been ordering some free movies on Demand like Robocop and watching them in HD. Now I have had my HD television for a little over 2 months, but I haven’t fully appreciated it until now. I just hope that I can somehow continue to afford it, things should be all right if I continue to post and make money with Adbrite though. Plus my job should pick up soon, I hope. I also picked up a free client for the promise of advertising and future paid work, so that might help as well.
On the latest episode of Lost, Locke and Sawyer are playing backgammon when Locke asks if Sawyer thought that he knew what he was doing. Now I think it is funny because that is what I am often thinking when I play backgammon online. I have been playing for months and I still don’t know what I am doing. It is good thaty I am playing online backgammon, otherwise people would see me looking up how to play at times, and what I need to do to win.
That is my new fansign. My friend Trina made it for me because she loves the site. Maybe it will invoke some of you other people to send me fansigns, or maybe it will bring some horny men here, either way do what you gotta do, I love getting these things, so keep them coming.
When I lived in New Jersey the gas and the electric were separate. The air conditioning and all that was electric, but the we had a gas stove, a gas heaters. Personally I don’t really have a preference between gas and electric heaters, other than price. Gas heaters seem to be cheaper, even with the gas prices on the rise. If I could go back to a gas heater now I would, right now the entire house is electric and very expensive, so a gas heater would save a lot of money. Maybe when we move, if we ever can at this point, it will get better.
It’s been a few days since I last blogged. The last few days I have been watching a lot of movies thanks to the new HD receiver we have, with HBO, Showtime and Starz. I don’t think I’ve watched this much television ever. I want to play some Halo so I am going to go do that after I finish this post. I am tired so I might be heading to bed not long from now, so I will see you guys another time.
In any business you need good customer relations. I mean if your business and a customer don’t get along then that customer will no longer come back to you. It is important for any business to follow this same ethic, but it is especially important for new businesses to follow it. When you are starting out then you will want as many happy customers as possible, this way they will tell people and bring you more business. Sometimes you may not know what is the right balance between bending over backwards for your customers and what is good for your business, so you may want to hire customer relationship management.
A good CRM will also help you with lead management through lead management software and tips. The more leads you have the more potential customers, which means the more money. Having leads when you are starting out can be hard if not impossible. A lot of businesses go under because they don’t have the right kind of advertising and the right leads. Think about it, if you are trying to promote your lawn care business, but the only people who know about it are people living in an apartment, then how does that help your business? It doesn’t.
So Valentine’s Day has come and gone. I won’t go into detail on what we did, but you can go to Krissy’s entry for the details. I am beat today, to be honest I don’t even know why I am up. I should be sleeping for a few more hours. I gotta help Krissy clean the house I guess, company coming tonight, I just want to go back to bed though. Oh well, I guess it could be worse.
Jerry proposed to Katie on Feburary 11, 2008, but he didn’t do it in an ordinary way, he did it on Youtube. Jerry won a contest in which he could propose to his girlfriend in front of millions of people on the front page of Youtube. There were a lot of Valentine’s video contestants, but Jerry’s was the grand prize. In case you are wondering, Katie said yes. I think doing something like that is really sweet. It is unique and they will forever have it documented for when the kids ask how dad proposed. Plus any relatives who want to see the special occasion can just log on at anytime and watch the video.
