I haven't heard anything from the Halo 3 IMax event, so I am assuming that they aren't going to be putting it online, although I could be wrong and Bungie might put it up later. I saw an updatesd picture of the Halo 3 Lengendary edition (the one that comes with the helmet) and I am sorry that I didn't order that one. Granted I don't really want to spend $130 on a video game, but the helmet is so cool. I think I might upgrade if they have it there when I go next month.
Krissy's family lives in New York, and I am going to Ohio at least once a year it seems, plus my aunt lives in New York as well, so as you can imagine I spend a signifigant amount of time in my car. That isn't even including the everyday things that I am in a car for, so is it any wonder that I like my music to sound the best it can. Well I have a blown speaker, so the music sounds horrible right now. I've been looking for a place to get one and I came across Electra Warehouse. They only sell things $1-$2 above cost, so everything they sell is really cheap. Usually cheaper than anyone else.
I'm still playing Legend of Zelda: the Twilight Princess. I just got passed the first level where you get the boomerang and have to work with the monkeys. I am hoping to finish this game (I didn't finish The Wind Waker) by September 25th. Yes that is the day that Halo 3 comes out, and I am hoping to have it beaten by then.
I've given up on getting Metroid Prime 3 on the release date, or even before Halo 3 comes out at all. Why you may ask? Well I want to finish Zelda, and I just don't think that I will have it done by the time Halo 3 comes out, with the way my schedule is. If Metroid Prime 3 had an online concept, then I might be a little more inclined, but the lack of an online play, I am really thrown off.
I got a call today from my friend up in New Jersey. It's the one who was in Drug Rehab for the last few weeks. He seems to be doing fine, but it is always that way when he gets out, then a few weeks later he falls off the wagon. Hopefully this time will be different.
In middle school he was completely straight edge, I was the more rebellious one, then we lost touch in high school. He moved away and then I moved, and we didn't see each other, he went to the high school that I got kicked out of the year before, but we didn't speak again until I moved to Delaware. It isn't that I didn't want to, it was that there wasn't any opportunity, we lost touch. Then I heard from his brother who told me what was going on. Then I talked to him.
If he doesn't stay on the wagon, then I just know that he will die before it is his time, which would really suck.
The HD-DVD, Blue-Ray war is really heating up. Some companies are going Blue-Ray exclusive while others are siding with HD-DVD. Some directors, like Michael Bay(Transformers) are speaking out about siding with one or the other. One company, even has sided with HD-DVD, but will release only Steven Spielberg movies on Blue-Ray.
Honestly, I think that it is just a shame, I mean who even has a next gen DVD player? I mean I could get the one for the XBox 360 for $179, but without a clear winner in the war, I don't want to spend the money yet. Am I the only one who feels this way?
I like good deals, but then again, who doesn't? I also love electronics. When I found out that armand rousso provides products for some of the biggest sites on the web, I instantly started looking into their company. They are going to be going public soon, and when that happens, I might buy stock, because of their wide selection of products. I'm talking digital cameras, plasma televisions, and kitchen appliances. With products like that, why wouldn't I, or anyone else for that matter put stock ion the company, like I said they already provide the products for some of the big sites on the web.
I figured out the issue I was having with the pages, it had to do with the htaccess file. It works now though, so maybe I will have some more content soon, plus a new photo gallery.
Tonite at 10PM PST Bungie will be revealing Halo 3 campaign to the public, I don't know if there will be any leaks, or whether they will put it on the internet themselves, but I am hoping that they do.
I can't stand clutter. The office is full of clutter so for the last few weeks I've been trying to get it in drawers. I don't think the big stuff is going to fit though, so I might invest in a closet cabinet. See I have room in the closet, and I could put it high. This way I can get it without it being in the way, or me banging my head on it.
Tomorrow Bungie is going to be showing off Halo 3 on an IMax screen while revealing a few more bits of information on the game. It is said to be 99.9% done, so I am guessing that anything they show is just going to tease us and make us salivate at the thought of the game. At least that's what it is going to do to me. I hope they put the information and the clips online.
I'm constantly saying that my website is much more than a blog. If you look at the menu then you will see what I mean. So because my website is much more than a blog, I care about things like search engine optimization, load times, how well all the pages fit together, things like that. One of my most important concerns is my search engine rankings. I have even thought about going to a website optimization firm to increase my rankings. Most people use at least one search engine everyday they are on the internet, and if you are on the front page of their query, then your website will most likely get visited.
I don't think I would go to a website optimization firm just for some SEO work, though. I'd probably incorporate Flash into my website if I did go to one. Nothing where the whole site is Flash based, but little bits of it here and there to spice it up a bit. Nothing like a little bit to make your visitors go wow right? I don't think I would have one build me a new design though. I'd consult with them, but in the end I think I would do that myself, but I'm happy with the way things are turning out now, so it isn't too much of a concern just yet.
Halo 3's release date is still a little over a month away, but the information they are revealing about it just keeps coming and coming. There's a map editor, new maps, new vehicles, everything that I find awesome. I am planning to do a 24 hour XBox Live Haloathon, not even so much a single player campaign, but an XBox Live a thon Halo 3 style. What does this mean? Well I won't be playing the single campaign mode, instead I will be playing on the multiplayer campaign. There's only three spots available so maybe you'd like to come by and say hi? I'll also be playing the online multiplayer, I can't wait to play a game of Zombies (or Infection as it is called in Halo 3) without some dumb people who don't know how to play.
I have always wanted to have a book published. I know a couple people who have already published one or two and they say that it is really hard to get one published through a publisher, because of all the red tape you need to get through. I have been thinking about publishing one through some private Book Publishers. They really seem to be keen on getting the self publisher up and running, by offering discounts on printing and helping you through each step of the process. If you have ever wanted to publish a book, then self publishing might be for you, this way you can avoid all the red tape involved in the process.
