I have always wanted to have a book published. I know a couple people who have already published one or two and they say that it is really hard to get one published through a publisher, because of all the red tape you need to get through. I have been thinking about publishing one through some private Book Publishers. They really seem to be keen on getting the self publisher up and running, by offering discounts on printing and helping you through each step of the process. If you have ever wanted to publish a book, then self publishing might be for you, this way you can avoid all the red tape involved in the process.

WordPress is pissing me off. I’m trying to get the plugins to go to the wp folder while the main blog is set to lepslair, but it isn’t working and just causing me grief. If anyone has any way around this then contact me. Also would anyone know anything about nested comments being compatible with WordPress 2.2?

My credit cards seem to be getting less and less of a payment that is due, but it is the unexpected one time bills that seem to popup every now and then that seem to blind side me. A few months ago I went to the emergency room because I was having trouble breathing, but while the insurance covered most of it, the copay is still outstanding and that is $50.00 that I just don’t have at the moment. I could put it on my credit card and then next month pay it right back, but I really don’t want to add anything else to the card. I guess I will have no choice though.

I just wish these credit cards were paid off already. I could really use some Debt Relief. I’ve been thinking about how I could pay these things off quicker, but so far the only solution I have come up with is to use Credit Card Consolidation. I don’t want to use that, though because I am not that far into the hole, it is just a matter of staying afloat now that is an issue, because of a lack of income due to a less of a demand in work.

I know it won’t last long though, should be over in a few days hopefully, if not then I am sure I could come up with other ways to make some money.

As you can tell there have been some changes around here the last few hours. Some of them will be temporary and others will be permanent. I am hoping to hear back from the Do Follow blogroll owner to see if I could put it on my links section,this way it isn’t right there. I’ve also made the necessary changes to the about me page, it updates automatically once my birthday rolls around.

I was thinking of doing some Enthusiast 3 plugins, what would you like to see?

Ian Clarke always loved writing and he always wanted to be a journalist. In his home town Ian was famous for his news stories. One day he decided to take his articles to one of the big city papers that got delivered to his town every few days. So off went Ian to the big city to see if they would publish his articles. The editor took one look at it and laughed. While Ian may have been famous for writing stories in his own little town, the newspaper required something that Ian knew very little about – correct spelling.

Ian was crushed, but his dream of being a journalist was not destroyed. If the corporations couldn’t see his potential, then maybe the common man would. He decided on that day that he would put them online available for everyone to see. He decided on a name for his little venture, it was to be called The Poof. Poof meaning that it wasn’t the corporate shell that so many news stories had, you know the kind, the kind where a paper takes the side of a corporation rather than the on strike workers, but more of a personalized news venture. There was only one problem. When Ian went to register thepoof, he didn’t double check to make sure he had spelled it correctly and registered thoof.

This didn’t stop him either, he wrote stories and made it into a very successful online newspaper.

There might be some changes around here in the next day or so, if you see some changes don’t be alarmed. It won’t be anything big (at least not yet) but I will be adding things here and there. Might even delete some things here and there, we’ll see. If you have an idea, for the site, then let me know.

I’ve had a broadband phone service in some form for a few years now. You always hear horror stories about if the lights go out then you don’t have a phone and 911 won’t work. The truth is that you can have a battery backup put on your modem, they are relatively cheap, and most cities now have an option for you to tell them where a phone number is address wise, so you can dial 911 and not have to worry about if they will find you, because they will.

It usually comes with great calling features too, like call waiting, and caller ID. Comcast usually has the best price when it comes to broadband phones, mainly because they will lower the price if you have all three services. It is nice to have everything on one bill, this way only one bill needs to get paid instead of worrying about three separate ones. What I love about it is that the call quality is excellent. I’ve never been asked if I was on a cellphone, or if I was on a VOIP phone with Comcast, it is just that good. If you are looking to ditch the phone company and want an affordable alternative, then why not go with Comcast phone service?

I’ve been playing Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and I have gotten to a point where I’m a wolf. While I am a bit annoyed at this, considering I’d like to attack with a sword via the Wiimote, I must admit that it does add a bit of mystery to the game itself. I guess I will have to wait and see where this is headed.

I’ve been calling places in Ohio all morning, one place seems perfect, the only problem is there is only one apartment left so I am going to wait until Krissy wakes up and talk to her about it. The thing with this place is that it would be less than $600 a month rent and all the utilities are included, we’d just need to pay for cable and a phone.

If we decided to move into that place then I think we’d be able to put money in our Checking and Savings accounts. Right now Krissy doesn’t have a bank account and I have one that I use to pay off credit cards, everything else is through cash, and that’s because I don’t want to use Bank accounts (even though a credit card is a lot worse). I’m just glad that I dont have any of those bad credit bank accounts thaty so many people have. Hopefully I will be able to get out of this hole soon enough to get out of here.

Krissy bought me Zelda the Twilight Princess for the Wii yesterday. The day before, we picked up Monkeyball and a rechargeable battery and charger for the XBox 360. Now I can play Halo 3 for 24 hours and not have to worry about batteries.

I’ve been looking at games for the Playstation 3, and the only one I could find that looked cool was Warhawk, but I am not spending $600 for one game, all the other games that will be on the Playstation 3 will also be on the 360, so it really isn’t worth it. I just wish Warhawk would make its appearance on the 360.

We want to move. The only problem is that we need a loan, and my credit is less than satisfactory. I’ve been paying back my other Loans very slowly. I’ve gone from $2500 down to just above $1800 in the last few months. That’s good considering that I’ve had them since I was in high school. We don’t own a house, so it isn’t like we could Refinance it. We don’t want to be losing money in an apartment, although I think we’d end up saving money in the long run if the utilities were paid for. It would be perfect if we could actually find an affordable house, but the cheapest ones we’ve found were in Ohio and they were still up in the $50,000 range so we would need a Mortgage Loan. Krissy never was to Ohio, so we might be planning a trip there soon, maybe we could find some place to live while we’re there.
