I am reading Madeline Albright’s new book, Memo to the President Elect. It is really Albright’s memoirs, but she writes them in such a way that doesn’t make you realize what you are actually reading. Like the title of the book, the book is written as if a memo of congradulations and advice to the next President of the United States. The advice is where this book shines though, even though it may seem she is writing to the new president, she is really saying what the American people should look for in a President, without actually saying who to vote for. She writes what she thinks made this country great and what needs to be done to make it great again.
