I miss the more complex video games as you have mentioned I will say I do enjoy Rainbow Six Vegas I played both versions took 2 days to beat the second one on regular, and 4 hours to beat it on their expert/hard category.

I just don’t feel so challenged anymore.

I love the old school Nintendo days. The final boss on Twilight Princess was nowhere near as hard as old-school Ganondorf. And I still can’t complete Super Mario Bros. 3 to this day – it’s just too hard!

Hmm, I’m actually not very well versed on video-gaming simply because I never had anything to play with as a kid. I did get to play some of the oldschool Super Mario Bros when I went over to my cousin’s house — that and pac-man. XD I know a lot of people who share your same views though, some of them are CS majors — maybe they’ll team up and make a “new” game with all the old school difficulties.

Basically, people aren’t going to buy things that make then unhappy. Or, well, that’s at least what the game designers think… so yeah, nothing can be too challenging anymore.

Those final Mario levels were always a bitch!
