Living in a resort town can be a downer in the winter. A lot of the houses down here are rentals so you only have people coming down here who are from out of state an d rented their house or apartment from Rentals. It sucks when the highways are packed with people from out of state, but it can also be amusing. There was this one man riding on his motorcycle who didn’t want to deal with the traffic, so he was riding in the shoulder. You could tell he was heading to the beach because he had his beach chair between his legs, which looked to be very uncomfortable. Needless to say that he got a ticket.
Everything changes down here once tourist season starts. More cops take to the streets, and the beach. They hire more than double the amount of police presence they normally have in the off season, which is around 10, and the state troopers will most likely be seen pulling over plates with out of state license plates. They don’t like to admit that they do that, but i have been speeding and have never once been pulled over, except once and they never got out of the car to question me, they just drove off.
Everything changes down here in the summer time, does it change in your town, or is it pretty much how it always is?
