Apparently bloggers are trying to get a union together so that they can request things such as medical insurancem, collective bargaining, and even professional standards. Am I the only one to say that this is the craziest thing I’d ever heard?
First of all, if you aren’t getting paid to blog, then how does this even apply? Second, ifyou are blogging for free, then the union representatives will be hassling you for giving away your valuable information for free. I am assuming that this will not be affecting people who just blog about their everyday lives, but then if a union gets involved, then those will most likely have lawsuits against them for not joining.
How do bloggers go on strike anyway? Not write anything at all? Sit there all day typing “No No We Won’t Go”? Yes this is the dumbest thing I’ve heard recently.
Hi Lep,
I found your site directly from Google. When I clicked on your link and your site loaded I got a pop up that said something like ‘Your computer has proof that you look at porn’ and it did that Accept or Cancel download thing. When I hit cancel the browser window with your site in it closed.
I don’t know what else it could have been to cause that.
Yeah, I actually read about that in the paper yesterday… When someone online mentioned it, I thought it was just a joke… But yeah, that’s a REALLY weird idea…
Bloggers union? Hahaha, that’s funny. Not even the McDonald’s I work at has a union, and we actually get paid to go there too.
