Spray Paint Simulator Gameplay

Spray Paint Simulator puts you in charge of a spray-painting business, working through jobs for a rotating cast of clients. Every job follows the same rhythm: prep the space, mask off anything that shouldn't get hit, pick your colors, and spray. The tool handling has real weight to it, distance, angle, and movement speed all affect how the paint lands, so the game rewards a steady hand over rushing a section for the sake of finishing it.

The jobs scale up fast. You start small with a car and a kitchen, then work your way up to a tour bus, an art gallery, a bridge, and eventually a giant robot. That robot was a pain to paint, having to tape and retape the nooks and crannies of it. It didn't help that my scaffolding bugged and I couldn't use it properly.

Tools, vehicles, ladders, scaffolding, and equipment are all upgradeable, and you'll need most of them once the jobs get bigger. Free Spray mode unlocks once you've cleared a level solo, letting you repaint that space with no client requirements attached. Co-op was originally limited to Free Spray mode and only after finishing the level on your own, though a free update in November 2025 added Story Mode co-op, so two players can now work through the actual job list together.

Spray Paint Simulator Story

The story in Spray Paint Simulator stays out of the way of the painting, which is clearly the point. It opens with your landlord and rich friend Vincent talking you into starting a painting business, and your first job is repainting his vintage car. Word spreads fast, and your next client is Tony, who is unmistakably a mob boss leaning on you to do good work whether you needed the pressure or not. From there you pick up jobs for people like Ron, who wants his aging tour bus refreshed, and Helen, who wants her art gallery as bright as the pieces hanging in it. Most of the story comes through text messages between jobs rather than cutscenes, so it never gets in the way of the actual spraying.
