Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is a platform episodic game. It was developed by Dimps and Sonic Team and published by Sega. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 was released for the iOS on October 7, 2010. The Wii got the game on October 11, 2010. Playstation 3 got the game on October 12, 2010 and Xbox 360 got it a day later on October 13, 2010. It was released on Windows on January 19, 2012. It was released on January 25, 2012 for Android OS.
Episode 2 was released on May 15, 2012 for Windows and Playstation 3. On May 16, 2012 it was released for Xbox 360 and Android. May 17, 2012 saw it release on iOS. Episode 3 was supposed to be released at some point, but it was cancelled. The game is a sequel to Sonic and Knuckles.
