I knew someone who had a "mail order bride". They were my father’s tenant. It isn’t what you must be thinking, she wasn’t desparate for a green card and he wasn’t just desperate. She came over here and they hit it off, he then went through an agency to get her back here. Russian women brides have a bad reputation, as do the men who have them. A lot of times things don’t work out, but sometimes the two people just click and things work out for them. If two people find love, then why does it matter how they meet, or what circumstances brought them together you know?

Word. I feel the same way about arranged marriages. Like, it shouldn’t ever be forced on anyone, but you never know what will and won’t work out.
