The Disney Afternoon Collection is a compilation game developed by Digital Eclipse. The game was published by Capcom on April 18, 2017 for Playstation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. An expanded version of the game will release on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on February 26, 2026 and it will be published by Atari. The game features 6 previously released games for the Nintendo Entertainment System based on the Disney Afternoon television block. The expanded edition for the game features 2 more games, but from the Super Nintendo Entertainment system.
The games included are side-scrolling action games. It includes DuckTales, DuckTales 2, TaleSpin, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2, and Darkwing Duck.They feature platforming, shooting, bouncing, and boss fights. They maintain the same gameplay for the most part as their original counterpart. While the game features classic game play, it does add some modern features. Save states for easier progression, a rewind feature, time attack and rush modes for added challenge, and visual filters that replicate CRT displays. The expanded edition, which includes Goof Troop and Bonkers, adds new co-op and puzzle elements, in addition to the new games.
