Spiderman 3 the Game

With Blockbuster Total Access, you can rent one free game a month. When I went there the other day, I picked up Spiderman 3 the game. At first I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. A lot of the reviews put it down, but I was a fan of the first two, and I love Spiderman so I picked it up. The game has its flaws, you get stuck upside down and you can’t see what’s on the ground, you are swinging up to the roof of a building and you can’t get up there fully.

Despite the flaws this game has something, for me anyway, that is sometimes lost in games, with people screaming at you online and sometimes objectives being too hard. What is lost is fun The game has its flaws, but it is fun. Plus if you beat the game and have the symbiote tokens, you can play as Venom. Even if I beat the game by Thursday, I might buy it, based purely on the fun factor of it.

Venice, Italy, Anything More Unique?

I love to travel, and I would love to go all over the United States in a car and see everything and anything I could. I’d also love to go to Europe to see the amazing sites of the Eifel Tower, Big Ben and most importantly Venice. Is there anything more Unique than Venice, Italy? A city half devoured by water where the transportation are gondolas.

I’ve been intrigued with Venice ever since playing Tomb Raider 2. I know that may seem odd, but the way they paid close attention to detail in that game, with the architecture and the history, just has always made me want to go there. I’d definitely be taking quite a few boat rides, whether gondola or otherwise and I would also make it a point to see St Mark’s Basilica for its beautiful architecture. The domes on the towers look absolutely amazing.  I’d love to have something like that on my house.
In any case if I were to go to Venice, I’d need to find some Hotels in Venice, and hopefully I could find a really good deal. I’d also need airfare, and overcoming my, I wouldn’t say fear of flying, just that I’d be nervous as never being on an airplane before.  Hopefully one day it will become a reality.

Introducing the Proxy

Do you need to surf anonymously? Is your school blocking sites like Myspace or Wikipedia? Then why not try the Lep’s Lair Proxy.

Yes I installed a proxy this morning, I know how hard it is to find one when you need one so this will hopefully help those people who desperately need one out.

The Machinima series Red Vs Blue is set to come to a close today. I for one love Red Vs Blue and I hope that my suspicions are correct in assuming that there isn’t a Blood Gulch map in Halo 3 and that is why the Bloog Gulch Chronicles are coming to an end. Hopefully the same characters will be in a new series in the fall. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.

Custom Essays

I have to write essays this module for school. For some this may be no big deal, but I haven’t written one in a few years so it’s been a bit challenging. Maybe if it gets too hard though, I might pay for a custom essay. At least with essays you buy, if you fail then you don’t feel as bad because they aren’t judging your work, they are judging someone else’s. I know someone who actually paid for an essay in high school. It was well thought out, well written, and clearly not his work, even I could see that. The teacher saw it too and failed him. On the plus side though, she said it was an A paper, too bad it wasn’t his A paper though.

Raimi back for Four?

Sam Raimi came out and said that if he were to direct Spiderman 4 he’d want to use Elekto, Vulture, or even the Sinister Six. If he does the Sinister Six, then he’ll need to bring back Doc Ock (Spiderman 2) and possibly Sandman (Spiderman 3).

I love Spiderman, and I’d love to see the Sinister Six in a movie, and it can be done, but with how Raimi has presented the villains in the movies (except Venom and Green Goblin) it would be hard to imagine. The villains in Raimi’s Spiderman movies all have a redemption factor. Even in the first move Green Goblin pretended to be redeemed before getting impaled on his glider. Venom was the only one who didn’t do the I’m sorry thing before his death.

For those who think it would be impossible to bring back Doc Ock, I think if they used the AI controlling him and keeping his brain active it would keep his body from decomposing and would make him able to return. The Sandman would be difficult because he goes off into the wind, but he is still a criminal, so with the right story it might draw him back.

I guess only time will tell if Raimi will be able to tell this story, or if he’d even want to it if there wasn’t a decent centralized story to back it up.

Air Guns

A few weeks ago when we went to the flea market I was looking at air rifles. I am not much for guns, but I did find some that were pretty cool looking. I am thinking that I would want to pick up some blank guns . I could set up targets out back and shoot them. I could always use the target practice in case I ever need to fire a real gun. Besides having one of those to scare people might be safer than me chasing them down with a katana. Might be funnier too to see them walk away with a pellet in their leg.

LCD Monitors I Need Thee

Thanks to for your input on the FAQ scripts, but I think I might just write one myself. Most of what I’ve seen are flat files, and I have come to despise them recently, so I will be doing a database driven one. Now if anyone has any questions shoot them off at me, any subject, any question. Yours might get answered.

I’m in desperate need of LCD monitors. These CRTs take too much room on my desk and my eyes are bugging out. Unfortunitely work is slowing down and I have to wait 30 days for Pay Per Post payments to come in. On the plus side with Pay Per Post, though, they owe me over $90. Not bad for just blogging. Now if only I coulsd get my Page Rank up so I could make more money with them.

Ohio Lemon Law

I’ve been to Ohio a few times and I’ve seen things there that I haven’t seen anywhere else. One of the places I saw that intrigued me was a buy one get one free car dealership. With deals like that, it’s no wonder why there is the used car lemon law to protect people. What’s worse than buying a car only to find out it is a crap shoot when you drive it only a few miles? With the lemon laws, most of the time you will get your money back and not have to worry about the car anymore.

FAQ Scripts Needed

I am trying to find an FAQ script with categories. I could write one, but with blog-ideas anmd the other site I am working on, I don’t have the time. If you or someone you know could recommend an FAQ script to me that has categories, please let me know.

I signed up for this site, Agloco. They pay you to surf the internet. You have this unobtrusive toolbar on the bottom of the page and it displays ads. You aren’t require to click on any of them, just have the bar up and you are making money, up to 5 hours a month. You also make money through referrals so join and see if it is something that you are interested in doing. The best part is that every member is a sharholder in the company. The more members, the more money you are making, the more people you refer the more money you make. The more you surf the web, the more money you make. Unlike traditional stock, if the company goes under, you owe nobody anything.

The post before this, even though it is a paid post, I stand by it fully. See I have used Spy Sweeper and actually love Spy Sweeper. It is one of the best ones out there that I could find.

Spy Sweeper

I’ve been known to have spyware on my computer, and it is annoying when you are trying to do work and your page goes from looking at my website to looking at something on Ireland. It is also annoying when you wake up in the morning and your computer is crashing because of all the popup windows. There was a time when I would just reformat the thing because I couldn’t take it anymore. Then I found Spy Sweeper. Spy Sweeper is the most award-winning antispyware software. It is a few dollars, but it is worth it when you don’t have to worry about all those annoying popups.

I’ve used it for years, It runs in the backround of my computer, I even bought my mother a copy for her old 800 megahertz Compaq she had up until recently, and even on there, you wouldn’t know that it was running. All the computers in the house, my desktop, my laptop, Krissy’s desktop, Krissy’s laptop, and my mothers new desktop along with her old desktop all have it and it runs without any problems. If you’re looking for piece of mind when it comes to spyware, isn’t it time you invested in Webroot’s Spy Sweeper?

Check

I’ve been playing a lot of Yahoo! Chess lately. I haven’t really played much in recent years, but I used to play a lot. The recent enjoyment of it was brought on by an episode of House. He was playing chess with a patient and the patient starts rattling off moves, but something didn’t seem right. Later on it was revealed the move wouldn’t have been made. That’s all it took for my interest to be resparked.

Drug Rehab

Almost everyone in my family has been through some kind of drug treatment center. I recently found a drug rehab site being run by recovering addicts. Because they are recovering addicts, they know how hard it is to quit something, and what works and what doesn’t work. It is always better to get advice and to see how people have changed when they’ve been there themselves. I mean who better to give advice then someone who has been there, right? I mean that’s why they made places like Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous, and all those other meetings, so you can see how other people are affected and so you don’t go through it alone.
