Electronics and Appliances

I am always looking for good deals, even if it is on things that I don’t need and/or can’t afford. Maybe it is because I want as much as I can get, maybe it is the fact that people always seem to ask me where they can get good deals, I really don’t know why I do it, I just know that I do it. Well I found a website that you can get good priced electronics and appliances, without even leaving your house. The website is abtelectronics. Whether you are looking for a big screen television, or a basement dehumidifier, they have it all. They even have free shipping available, so what have you got to lose if you look there first for your electronic and appliance needs? You may even save a few dollars.

Birthday in Ohio-Maybe

My birthday is next week and I might be spending it with Krissy in Ohio looking at apartments. We’ll see though, I don’t know what is going on from day to day as it is, so looking a week in advance is a bit of an overkill. If we do go, we’ll be sure to be back by the 25th so I can pick up Halo 3, I know it may seem like I am a bit obsessed, but after playing the beta earlier this year, I am absolutely psyched for the game.

I am in desperate need of clothing. The problem is that I have little to no money to spend on it, so I am constantly looking for good deals and / or coupons. I like simple clothing, solid colors, nothing really over the top. Champion clothing is pretty much my style, to an extent.

Couponchief is really good with coupons for the clothing that you want, but cannot afford. Men or women’s clothing, they have some pretty sweet deals. Free shipping, to a percentage off your order, it is definitely a site that you want to look into when you are looking to buy clothing.

With the winter months coming up, and the possibility of moving to a snow filled state, I think I am going to need more than just clothes from Champion though. Couponchief also has deals from many other stores, including Wilson’s Leather. I have a few leather jackets, but my favorite one is worn and torn from winter’s passed, so I think it ias about time that I look for a new one. I am thinking of going Matrix style with a long leather coat. With Couponchief, I will be able to get a good discount on it, or any other product at Wilson’s Leather.

Halo 3 in 13 Days

Halo 3 comes out in thirteen days and I am taking in everything that is Halo 3. From the new vehicles to the new weapons, I just cannot wait. I am still planning the 24 hours of Halo 3, so if anyone wants to come online and say hi then my XBox Live handle is leprakhauns. Stop by for a game of multiplayer, or a few levels of campaign with me.

I will be blogging on the 25th all about Halo 3 so if you are interested then stop on by and see how excited I am on that day.

Turducken

One of the gym teachers at my highschool told me about this thing called turducken. I havespent years trying to find out where I can get it, and now I have finally found a place that has it, and for a good price too. You can get it from CajunGrocer. For those of tyou who don’t know what turducken is, let me tell you. It is a Chicken stuffed inside a Duck stuffed inside a Turkey. All poultry, but three distinct flavors. If we have enough money, depending on what we are doing for Christmas and where we are, I might suggest to Krissy on getting a turducken for Christmas. That would be one delicious dinner.

Graphics Card

My graphics card came today, I have my PC up and running. I went from what I had originally a 256 MB graphics card down to a 128 mb graphics card and not I am on a 64mb graphics card. It sucks that I don’t have more power, but I am also thinking of upgrading to a better processor or processors in the near future so I am going to need a new computer, which probably will not have an AGP slot, so that is why I am not too concerned.

Life Planning

With all the talk that Krissy and I have been doing talking about moving and about affording a house and all that good stuff, there are other plans we have been talking about sporadically that haven’t really been the main focus of conversations as of yet. Those plans are of kids, and what happens when or if we have them and all the things that comes along with kids. We’ve also talked about if we did have kids what would happen to them when we died. This of course led to talking about what we were to do if the other died.

We want to make it simple for the probate lawyers to be able to divide our property to family and loved ones, while keeping our wishes along with theirs in the best interest. I mean some people may see this as morbid, but the fact is that these are just life plans, for in case something happens. Life goes on and you need to make sure that your bases are covered and that you have everything set as to how you would like it when your gone.

The most important thing you can do is find a good lawyer. Someone who won’t try to stiff people out of money when your gone and someone who won’t end up screwing you or your family. Morris, Hall & Kinghorn is an Arizona firm that will make sure your wishes are fulfilled to the best of their ability.

Let Me Explain

Let me explain what is going on. First off I know I am behind on my Despair comments, but there is good reason for that. I am not in my own element. I am either on Krissy’s desktop or laptop (my laptop needs to get fixed too, I am just too lazy to sit down and do it). My desktop needs a new video card and right now that is getting shipped to Harrington, so I should have it either tomorrow or the next day. (The ETA is on the 13th) After I am back on my desktop then I will comment on all the despair people and approve comments that have been left here.

Glow Sticks

If we end up moving before Halloween, I think I might throw a house warming party. See I know a couple people in Ohio and I think that a party where people gives us free things after we move in to a place is just what we need. I don’t think it would be a boring party, I would have the disco ball set up, with a couple games going on like Halo 3, and Wii sports. Depending on the size, I would even have a dance floor set up where everyone would have glow sticks.

Premierglow has some good deals on glow sticks, and other glow products. What good is a party without glowing under a disco ball with some Halo 3 in the background with music? Of course we would probably need a house to do all that, as an apartment with all that noise would most likely get us in trouble. It would be cool, though, to have a bunch of people there to play video games and have a good time, kind of like one big lan party, which I have always wanted to do. Maybe when we get our own place I can start thinking seriously about one. Of course what good is a lan party without glow sticks right?

We Found a Place

We found a place we really like online, now all there is to it is to get out to Ohio to look at the apartment up close and check out the neighborhood. My friend lives out there so it shouldn’t be that difficult for me to change, but Krissy doesn’t really have anyone out there and I know that is going to be really hard on her. I just wish I could do something to help make the transition if it does happen, a little easier.

Gossip Girl

I don’t think I have ever used my blog to spread gossip, mainly because I am against starting trouble on the internet. I mean I have seen when people do it and I think it is hilarious, he said this and she said that. Then the threats start flying where people start looking up legal terms on Wikipedia and starts threatening with lawsuits. If you are into that whole thing that is fine, just know if I come across your website I will probably sit back and laugh at the immaturity that is unfolding from 20 year olds.

There is a new show, Gossip Girl on The CW, and like other shows on the CW, it is focused to bring in a teenage viewing audience. The show revolves around the main character (Kristen Bell) who has a website and blogs about her friends, that creates tension between them. While dealing with the main character’s comments about her friends on her site, the gang also deals with the normal stress of everyday teen lives, sex, drugs, and other issues that teenagers face in their lives.

If this show is as entertaining as the real life bloggers who go out of their way to make them look like immature teenagers, then I might actually tune in to watch this on September 19th.

Taking Control

I have gotten really sick of Adbrite telling me they fixed the popup problem then it coming up again, so I took control and am now manually approving and denying any banner ad that is displayed here. I am sorry to those who got them, but up until this point it was out of my hands. Hopefully with the loss of the popups, I will get back some of the visitors that I had lost.
