Beautiful isn’t it? That’s the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia. I would love go visit Australia one day. To see the Sydney Harbour or the Opera House up close and personal would be amazing, definitely worth any amount of money. I will definitely go one day. When I do go I am going to check stay in a couple Sydney Hotels, Melbourne Hotels, and Brisbane Hotels. Yes multiple hotels in the same city, because sometimes one hotel doesn’t give you the full experience of being in a new place, as another would, and another one would offer all new experiences.
At least I know that if I choose CheaperthanHotels to book a room last minute, it would be cheaper than going right through a hotel and they have some of the best free extras like free meals and use of amenities. How convenient is that? I mean if you are spending money on airfare and a hotel, then a free meal is definitely a good thing.
I’ve been addicted to the Office for a few years now, well this is the first time I am watching the season finale, and I have to say that it is actually pretty good. I read spoilers back when it first aired because I didn’t know if I would get to see it before the premiere, so I knew what was going to happen (even though the previews for the premiere say the big surprise). I am dying to see what happens between Jim and Pam and Michael and Jan. Also I want to see BJ in his new position, that would be very interesting to see in the premiere. Office Premiere, in one week,. I can’t wait.
I found AndrewTalk and I think it is pretty interesting. He blogs about everything, kinda like I do. From making money to personal stuff, to how to populate your blog. I mean I don’t really like blogs that focus on one topic, like Harry Potter or video games, and I think he has a wide variety of topics to choose from. Granted on his sidebar there are only three topics, but within those three there’s much variety. Like in his personal category he talked about his birthday on one blog entry and the video game Second Life on another entry. They aren’t the same dribble that is posted on other blog sites either, these are informative and entertaining. If you have a chance check it out.
The one call that was asking about the loan, was actually a credit card company and it was for Krissy. If we can get enough credit cards, then everything would be paid for by them. I really don’t want to do that though considering the amount of time it took me to pay back the one. Did I mention I am going to take my car in and pay it on the credit card? Damn this vicious cycle!
I’ve been interested in investing in the stock market for a while now, I just am afraid I would lose all my money, especially with the way things are right now. There’s a virtual stock market that I found out about and I might be joining to see how I do investing. It is called the rookie challenge. It is free to register and when you register you receive $100,000 virtual money for you to invest. They keep it simple mby only allowing you to buy and sell stocks. What is unique about this game is that it is open the same time the stock market is, Monday through Friday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. What is also cool about the game is every week you could win $1000 just for playing the game.
I think I am going to sign up a little later today because it sounds like it could be really fun. I mean when you want to do something but you don’t have the money for it, might as well pretend to do it in a game right? Plus the added bonus of possibly winning $1000 doesn’t sound too bad, I could use that for my car, or moving expenses.
I’ve got some phone calls to make, I have to cancel this one thing I ordered for my credit report because I don’t want to get charged for it. I also need to call back my credit card company regarding a loan. I just hope everything goes smoothly because I have some work to do because the Userplane chatroom is finally working how it is supposed to be. I mean their documentation isn’t very clear but their tech support can be useful.
It has always been my dream to own my own business.I’m talking like a startup video game company, or a programming firm. I think I would make a great owner, no matter what kind of business I would run. I’d need the startup capital though. http://www.RaiseCapital is a website where they will help you get in touch with investors. They reportedly have some top investors who aren’t afraid to take risks with their money, especially when promoting small business or startup companies. The pressure to fund your business is immense, but with this site it can take some of the pressure off, which means that you have more time to focus on how your business is run, rather than trying to find investors to fund your operation.
Maybe I would one day make Lep’s Lair a fulltime business. I mean how many bloggers make all their money blogging, and not doing much else? I mean I have always said that this website is far from where I want it to be, maybe I could get it there if eventually I turned it into a fulltime business. At least I know if I ever do that, I have a website that I can go to to help me find investors.
My cousin is diabetic. He has a diabetic pump, instead of insulin shots. I’ve watched him a few times, it is really much more convenient and probably safer than giving him an insulin shot. If you’ve ever seen these pumps then you know that they are expensive. Whenever he plays his Playstation 3, or Nintendo Wii, they need to unplug him. It’s also dangerous for him to be around most cell phones.
You may be asking yourself why he needs to be careful. Well for some reason if he gets in a line of bluetooth his pump fails. My aunt had to go through three different pumps before she realized what was going on. So a little warning to all you bluetooth diabetics out there: make sure your insulin pump doesn’t get messed up with the wireless Bluetooth signals that are being thrown around.
Do you know what September 21st is? Well besides being my birthday, it is World Alzheimer’s Day. World Alzheimer’s Day is a day when people come together and help spread Alzheimer’s awareness to others. One way people do it is by throwing a Purple Party. People come together, sometimes paying a fee to get in, that goes to the Alzeimer’s association, and they learn about how it affects other people’s lives, and how it might one day affect their own.
People who throw the parties often register on actionalz, this way they can have their own free webspace for their party, to register guests, discuss the party, help people decide what to bring, whatever the reason. Having a Purple Party on September 21st would be a great way for you to help spread Alzheimer’s awareness.
Any money donated in the month of September will be matched dollar for dollar by The Harrah’s Foundation. That means if people raise $30,000 then the Harrah’s Foundation will put in their own $30,000 all for Alzheimer’s research. Families shouldn’t have to deal with this disease any longer, havign someone you’ve known for years looking at you and not knowing who you are is a horrible feeling. Would you want it to happen to you?
I took myself off hiatus with Despair and Excentrique. I should be able to comment on sites again without getting behind, plus it might help with my Alexa and Google ranks. It might even help me get some more advertisers. Now that would be easy money coming in each month. The more money I make, even if it ism just a couple dollars more, the easier I can pay back the credit card and Krissy and I can get out of here.
I love Ray-ban Sunglasses, the problem with that is they are very expensive. My all time favorite sunglasses are the ones that Morpheus wore in the Matrix, the armless ones. Those are expensive too. Most designer sunglasses are a minimum of $100, so I’ve had to resort to replica sunglasses. They aren’t that bad, they are much cheaper than Wholesale Sunglasses, and they are usually at least the same quality as the name brand ones, sometimes they are better.
Replica sunglasses are a big industry. People are more willing to spend $30 on replica glasses than $300 on designer ones. It makes a lot of sense, if you think about it. I mean someone buys replica’s for $10 and sell them online, or in a store for $30. They aren’t name brand, but they come close to looking like them. It might be an easy way to make money, so maybe I will look more into it and maybe start selling some online, or something.
