Life Settlements are Important

Buying a house may seem like buying a house to anyone the outside, but it really symbolizes freedom and growing up in a lot of ways. Up until now Krissy and I have lived over someone else’s roof, and now we are venturing out into the world and getting a place of our own, far away from any parental influences, which is going to be nice.

This isn’t just a change of address after all, it is a having a car in my own name with my insurance, paying bills on time each month, paying back a loan responsibly. What we are going into is uncharted territories. I mean anything we do now could possibly affect us years down the road, which is why I am hoping to make some good investments along the way. I guess that is why I have been thinking about having life insurance.

Anything could happen, and if that did could Krissy take care of herself? I mean I am sure she could, but I would like to make sure she is covered for a little while with Life Settlements. Life Settlements ensure that she would recieve 25K-500K if I die. I mean I am not planning on dying anytime soon, but if I did die, at least she would be covered.

Work is Picking Up

Work seems to be picking up, which is good, but I have a busy couple of weeks ahead of me so I need to get everything done and put off what can be put off (hopefully not much to nothing at all) so that I can pack up move and then work in the new place. Yesterday I was working with my normal job doing Flash and some redesigns and a client came along that I was doing JavaScript code for. It is nice to have the money, but it just seems like this all came at a very weird time, any other time I’d be more than willing to do it all, but now I need to get everything together and move while working. Oh well, I hope this flow of work continues when I am in Ohio.

Home Theater

I want a chair in the new place that is just going to be mine, someplace that I can go play some video games, whether it be the Wii, 360, DS, it doesn’t matter, just a nice place just for me. I have been thinking about home theater seating. It is comfortable, the one I would get reclines and it is leather. I would sink right into it. Plus it would be very nice to get away from the computer in a comfortable place. I have always loved Home theater furniture, eventually I would want a whole big theater room, with seating for twenty surround sound and a huge television. Afterall isn’t that the American dream.

Taking Stuff to Ohio

It is looking like next week that we will be going to Ohio. I am planning on packing up the car with some of the essentials before we leave, like my tool box, and maybe some boxes of little things that will fit in the car. I mean of course we don’t know if we will find a place, but more likely than not we will find a place next weekend, possibly even the place we’ve been thinking about, so taking some stuff isn’t so far fetched.

World of Tomorrow

Did you ever plant a time capsule when you were younger? Maybe you had a note, or a picture, maybe one of your favorite items in one that you will unearth a few years from now, or maybe you already dug it up. Well now there is a website that will keep your digital items in an online time capsule. With http://www.the100yearwebsite/, you can choose to have your capsule open from day one, or choose a day to allow it to be opened, so your family and friends can see it in the future. Maybe you would want to create a digital photo album for your children, or grandchildren.

They will keep your time capsule for one hundred years. Imagine the world of tomorrow openning your time capsule and seeing the way the internet was when you made it, how you were sitting in an old fashioned LCD monitor, watching what they consider low-definition television. It can really blow your mind if you think about it too hard. I mean your great great grandchildren could be watching a message that you recorded telling them all about how your parents came over here from another country, or about how up until now there have never been a female or a black president, the world of today will be a lot different than that of tomorrow.

Throwing Stuff Out

I have started going through some stuff getting rid of it, because after this weekend, we will probably be very busy going to Ohio and packing. I am trying to get rid of the stuff that tends to accumulate over the years that I have forgotten about, and thought I would need at some point, but never have. It is a grueling process, but it needs to be done. We will probably have a box truck, so space won’t be a problem on the truck, but in the new place, it would be nice to have a clutter free environment. Plus with loading and unloading, the less stuff is better.

Children with AIDS

Did you know that at the end of 2006 2.3 million children were living with HIV around the world. Of the 2.9 million people who died of AIDS during 2006, one in ten of them were children. IndieMV is sponsoring the UNICEF Unite Against AIDS concert and will host a youth video contest to generate greater awareness of the impact of AIDS on children. The statistics speak for themselves, something needs to be done about this, and if more people know about this problem, then maybe more people will take action against it. For those who don’t know, IndieMV – Music+People is a music video based social network.

Getting the Money

So we are going to New York this weekend to get the loan money. It is Krissy’s birthday, so she is going to be spending it with her father, and I will have my laptop with me so I can work and update. I just need to install Dreamweaver and Flash on my laptop so I can work this weekend.

Terralever

I am learning Flash, it is coming along faster than I thought it would, but I am no expert as of yet. I could probably make a website out of Flash, animate it, program it to do what I wanted to, but it wouldn’t be as good as what the people at Terralever could do. They make interactive websites and specialize in application development. Their Flash stuff is pretty amazing, so clean and crisp, and it doesn’t bog down the system, so you know that it is optimized to work well. They don’t just do Flash though, they have everything you need to make yourself known on the web.

Whether you need an internet marketing strategy, a new design for your website, or even want to make a game, Terralever could work with you to give you exactly what you want and need. If your website is new or your website is just sluggish when it comes to your rankings, they could also help you bring them up with their new search engine optimization division.

Terralever can also provide projects in .NET, HTML, Ajax, JavaScript, ActionScript, Flex, XML, CSS, and Flash. So whether you need a simple page, or ones with all the bells and whistles, Terralever could do your business justice when it comes to the online world.

My Car is Back

I got my car back today. It was a lot cheaper than I was quoted, I got a quote of $991, but the exact cost was $845. It isn’t a bad price considering that they need to take out the engine to put it in, so I am happy. My car sounds a lot better, so I should be able to go to New York whenever the paperwork comes, which will hopefully be soon, because Krissy and I are getting very impatient with this.

Work from Home

I work from home, and let me tell you, it is great, even more luxurious than I could have imagined. I don’t need to shower, or brush my teeth before I start the day, I can stay in my boxers, and most importantly I don’t need to spend money on gas going to and from work. It really is a dream come true. I just happened to kind of fall into my job, but you don’t need to wait to fall into yours anymore.

Courtney Raymond Consultants offers a free program for you to work from home. There is nothing to buy, and training if free. This is definitely a unique opportunity and if you have ever dreamed of working from home, then this might be the perfect solution for you. All you need to have is a home phone and decent phone skills. The hours are very flexible and the pay is very good. Now you too can enjoy sitting at home in your underwear working, without spending the time and money to go to an office, a warehouse, or anyplace else. If you have ever wanted to work from home then this might be something to look into.

Spiderman Characters

I added some new characters that were in the third movie to the Spiderman Characters section. I am hoping to have the synopsis of the third movie up and running after the DVD comes out, this way I can watch it and take screenshots and whatnot. For those of you who dont know the DVD comes out on October 30th.
