Insurance is Important

I had to send in paperwork for my health insurance last night. I never realized how important health insurance was, until I almost didn’t have any and realized that I’d have to pay over $3000 for a hospital visit. Other insurances are important, I suppose. I don’t pay home insurance, or life insurance yet, but I do have car insurance so I guess I know how important those are too. You never want to be without one of those in case something happens, if you are, then you are pretty much screwed financially and there isn’t anything you can do about it.

I know I know Behind on Comments

I’m behind on comments again, I know I have to get to everyone’s whose commented me in the last few weeks, just been really busy with stuff lately, you know how it is.

I had a great idea, that I think might take off, but I am not ready to announce anything just yet, because I don’t know if it will take off and I need to find out the logistics of it all.

Is There Something in the Water?

My friend Tim just got out of a drug rehab center, as you all know. Well I found out through the grapevine that is Myspace and talking to old friends that someone else I knew was also in rehab. It wasn’t someone I was close to, or someone I particularly likes much, but someone I just knew growing up. Apparently he just got out of rehab and he is really suffering because of it. He doesn’t have insurance so he has to pay every dime for when he was in there. If only he had gone to one where it wasn’t that expensive, like the The Watershed alcohol rehab.

It seems that everyone who is still in that area has some big emotional problem, drugs, alcohol, depression. I am beginniung to think that maybe there is something in the water, maybe that’s why everyone is unable to control themselves.

This was a sponsored post.

Online Directions

I love to travel, I have talked about it enough, so I am sure that you know that by now. I love road trips, I’ve talked about them too. I’ve gone from New Jersey to Ohio through four states and back to New Jersey only going through two states. The problem I have with going from state to state is that the online maps are sometimes wrong. One time I was stuck in Delaware because I was supposed to make a left, instead of a right like the directions said. Well I found a website that offers much more than maps, they offer real time traffic information, bus routes, and walking times. Say you are in Seattle, but you’ve never been there before. You go to the site, get a map of Seattle and then find out how long it would take to get from point A to point B, and if the traffic would justify you walking there.

No More Popups

Thank you to those who told me about how my site had popups. I’ve just been informed that the problem has been fixed so if you are still getting a popup, please tell me and I will alert Adbrite as soon as possible. Apparently they had no idea that one of the ads had a popup.

I want to try “water massage”

We need a bed because we both have really bad back pain on the bed we’re currently on. I’ve even thought about going to a massage therapist because of the pain. I found out that water massage beds are supposed to give more relief than other ones. A “water massage” is a bit more expensive than a regular one, but it also feels much better in the end. My friend Jovan up in New Jersey got one pnce and she told me that it was the best massage she had ever gotten. I don’t want to go all the way up there, so I need to find a place around here that offers them.

Hugo Boss

I need to go shopping. I have a limited number of pants without holes in them and it is really annoying. I don’t want people to see my Kool-Aide covered butt (Krissy got me Kool-Aide boxers for Christmas). I’ve been thinking about picking up some Hugo Boss jeans. I’ve always liked Hugo Boss clothes, and their jeans are very comfortable.

I remember when Hugo Boss was all the rage and that’s all anyone wore. Of course that was like ten years ago now, back when I was in middle school (has it been that long?), but they’ve still remained a very popular name. The jeans are expensive, so I’ve been doing some comparative shopping. I didn’t really see any that I could afford right now, but I did see a jacket that I liked. If I didn’t need a chair and monitors, then maybe I would buy myself a new Hugo Boss jacket.

Gimme the Helmet

I haven’t heard anything from the Halo 3 IMax event, so I am assuming that they aren’t going to be putting it online, although I could be wrong and Bungie might put it up later. I saw an updatesd picture of the Halo 3 Lengendary edition (the one that comes with the helmet) and I am sorry that I didn’t order that one. Granted I don’t really want to spend $130 on a video game, but the helmet is so cool. I think I might upgrade if they have it there when I go next month.

Blown Speaker

Krissy’s family lives in New York, and I am going to Ohio at least once a year it seems, plus my aunt lives in New York as well, so as you can imagine I spend a signifigant amount of time in my car. That isn’t even including the everyday things that I am in a car for, so is it any wonder that I like my music to sound the best it can. Well I have a blown speaker, so the music sounds horrible right now. I’ve been looking for a place to get one and I came across Electra Warehouse. They only sell things $1-$2 above cost, so everything they sell is really cheap. Usually cheaper than anyone else.

Metroid Prime Lack of Online Play

I’m still playing Legend of Zelda: the Twilight Princess. I just got passed the first level where you get the boomerang and have to work with the monkeys. I am hoping to finish this game (I didn’t finish The Wind Waker) by September 25th. Yes that is the day that Halo 3 comes out, and I am hoping to have it beaten by then.

I’ve given up on getting Metroid Prime 3 on the release date, or even before Halo 3 comes out at all. Why you may ask? Well I want to finish Zelda, and I just don’t think that I will have it done by the time Halo 3 comes out, with the way my schedule is. If Metroid Prime 3 had an online concept, then I might be a little more inclined, but the lack of an online play, I am really thrown off.

I Got a Call

I got a call today from my friend up in New Jersey. It’s the one who was in Drug Rehab for the last few weeks. He seems to be doing fine, but it is always that way when he gets out, then a few weeks later he falls off the wagon. Hopefully this time will be different.

In middle school he was completely straight edge, I was the more rebellious one, then we lost touch in high school. He moved away and then I moved, and we didn’t see each other, he went to the high school that I got kicked out of the year before, but we didn’t speak again until I moved to Delaware. It isn’t that I didn’t want to, it was that there wasn’t any opportunity, we lost touch. Then I heard from his brother who told me what was going on. Then I talked to him.

If he doesn’t stay on the wagon, then I just know that he will die before it is his time, which would really suck.

HD-DVD Vs Blue-Ray

The HD-DVD, Blue-Ray war is really heating up. Some companies are going Blue-Ray exclusive while others are siding with HD-DVD. Some directors, like Michael Bay(Transformers) are speaking out about siding with one or the other. One company, even has sided with HD-DVD, but will release only Steven Spielberg movies on Blue-Ray.

Honestly, I think that it is just a shame, I mean who even has a next gen DVD player? I mean I could get the one for the XBox 360 for $179, but without a clear winner in the war, I don’t want to spend the money yet. Am I the only one who feels this way?
