I’m so sorry that house hunting and playing the waiting game is stressing you guys out. This is why I would rather go with an apartment. I had one at one time, but even I struggled monthly with food. Thankfully the community I lived in helped each other out, and when they saw someone suffering, they helped them out.

I agree it’s back to high school drama all over again. I wrote an apology to her, and she wrote me back this morning and told me that it was not an apology at all. I wrote I apologize for any behavior etc.etc. I guess she read it wrong or took it the wrong way. But damn. And I do agree that if this guy was copying, and she had a legal copyright — she could take legal actions. But I highly doubt the guy was copying her. In fact — she was claiming that he was stalking her on Deviantart, and on Facebook. So what we look around that doesn’t mean that he is a stalker. Maybe he’s looking at her art to get an idea ya know? But it is what it is. I can’t block her again until the 48 hours are up. But whatever. I’m done with that high school stuff and she kept at it with me after telling me that she has no problem and that my apology was not an apology. But whatever.

Ugh that sounds super stressful. I am so bad at managing my own time. I could never work for myself. I work so slowly when I have to create things because I get so incredibly distracted! Good luck with all the house drama going on! I hope it works out!

House hunting is the most stressful thing ever. Hands down. Keith and I bought in June, closed in July, moved in in August, and that whole three month period was madness. It’s such a judgmental process and some of the loan processors are just idiots. I think we sent the SAME documents about 100 times. Either way, good luck. I hope it works out and I hope you get the home you want!

Wow, sounds really stressful. What’s working for yourself like? I can only imagine how much more work you have to do, though.

    • It can be stressful, especially when starting out with few clients, but once you get a solid string of work it gets less stressful. Being able to work in your pajamas, or anything else is nice. Plus I can choose to start work at midnight and work through the night if I want.

In reality though, it makes more sense than having one job. If you lose your job then you have no money coming in. If I lost a client I have others that I can depend on and if I needed to find more, then I could.
