I have talked before about how I like very odd things, and things that you normally wouldn’t find in everybody’s home. Well I was looking at some grandfather clocks because my mother mentioned that she had always wanted one, and I always thought they were kind of bland, and a lot of people have them in their home so I wasn’t ever really interested in them. Well as I was looking around the Howard Miller clocks section, I came across one that I really liked.

I really like this clock. It isn’t the traditional grandfather clock, and you wouldn’t even think that it was a grandfather clock just by looking at it. I love the way it is so simple in design, but so complex at the same time. Plus the hanging bar is still moving, but I think it moves the top part with the clock as well.

Some of the other clocks on that site are cool looking too. I would definitely buy a clock from them in the future, most likely to put it in the new place’s living room, clocks like those need to be displayed after all, you can’t keep them locked away in a bedroom. I just hope that having more clocks in the house doesn’t mean that we get confused about the time change like we did last weekend when some of the clocks with dates in them changed on their own, like the VCR and the DVD Player.

We headed off to the beach last night to see the waves and it was really nice. Hurricane Noel was making the beach disappear with a higher than usual low tide, plus really big waves. If I was a surfer, then I would definitely be in that water. We stayed for about an hour and a half just watching it and talking. When we were leaving, though, that is when things got interesting. Apparently someone from around where we were had called the police because they “needed assistance”, but only said the street they were on and not where they were exactly, so the cops were up and down the streets and on the boardwalks looking for this guy.

I have a steady client, and my website helps me make money each month, but besides from that I am also a freelance programmer. Do you know how hard it is to find jobs when you are freelance? I mean especially if you sign up to one of those websites for programmers and you you don’t have any feedback on that particular website. Then there are some of the bigger websites that big programming companies take claim on and post really high prices for simple jobs, and that seems to overshadow the individual programmer who can do it in little time with little effort.

I decided that I will be getting a camcorder someday because I want to get into movie making/editing. Even if I just get a DV-R soon then I will start editing movies. If I want to do that though, then I need more space on my computer. That is why I ordered a 500 gigabyte harddrive last night. I ordered it from TigerDirect so it was pretty cheap. It was only $109, a lot cheaper than what I paid for my 120 gigabyte hard drive a few years ago. Hopefully that gets shipped out within the next few days or so.

I have been looking at digital camcorders recently. There was a VHS one at KMart last week for a good price, but I want to get into video editing, so I figured I should stay away from VHS. Basically I want one for a good price, and I am even willing to use some Free Coupons for it. I have been looking at the coupons for Best Buy and Amazon and they seem to have some good ones, but I just don’t know if I want to get it now or wait until after Christmas. I will tell you that either way I am going to be using coupons on buying gifts this year, mainly because of the savings they offer.

I promise I will have the Spiderman 3 part up soon. Some other things have come up that has taken my attention away from it, mainly work and playing with CS3. Plus the person came today and picked up the monitors and Mac, he didn’t think the Mac was that old, apparenly a PowerPC is still pretty powerful. I guess I don’t know much about Macs, though.

I haven’t sat down and fully played with Photoshop CS3, but let me tell you that Photoshop CS2 hardly worked on my machine, mainly because it isn’t a dual core processor. Adobe Photoshop CS3 does work, however, and let me tell you that I am glad that it does. II will give more of a review at a later time perhaps, I just wanted to post that it does work on my rig. Depending on how it performs when I am playing with things that need to be graphics heavy, instead of just opening it and seeing how fast it runs, I might be coerced to upgrade full time to CS3 and not just use the trial.

As I have stated before, I have had a credit card since shortly after my 18th birthday. I messed up and I got myself in a considerable amount of debt with those credit cards. What is strange is that now, I don’t have a conventional job as some would say, but I am making more money than I did when I was working. Because of that, I think I will be able to get myself out of debt soon, using just money that I have coming in and not using any of the personal loan.

I am going to do it under my own accord, while building my credit rating and not resorting to any bad credit loans. I don’t think they are bad, I just think they are more for someone who only has $2000 worth of debt. If you need help, then they are surely something great, but I don’t think I need that kind of help, or any kind for that matter, I am doing good with money and I should be fine. If I wasn’t though, then I would definitely do something to pay everything back and at the same time get my credit rating up.

They opened a free gym in my complex (really nothing more than an all in one machine, a leg machine, a treadmill and a bike) and I went there last night and worked out. It is opened 24 hours a day, you just go in and work on anything you want then shut the lights off when you leave. Last night I just did my chest (I think) and my arms. Tonight I am planning on going and doing my legs. I figure if I can go every day and alternate then I might be able to gain muscle rather quickly, although most of my body is muscle, the fattest part on me is my stomach, but I am hoping that will go down with some sit ups and eating better.

The guy said he would be coming tomorrow to pick up the monitor, the Mac monitor and Mac desktop. Hopefully he shows up, otherwise I will need to find someone else to give it to. In any case that will be a few less things cluttering up the place, and it will hopefully go smoothly. In any event I am going to clean them up and ship them out the front door tomorrow and wait for the guy to get here ioutside, this way he doesn’t have to be in the house.
