Is a remake of Red Dead Redemption coming to consoles? If these amazon images are real then the answer is yes. These made the rounds over the weekend and featured screenshots of the Outlaw Collection that contains both Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Playstation 5 and Playstation 4. Seemingly missing from this series is a PC release, which fans have been clamoring for for years. While Red Dead 2 eventually was released on PC, Red Dead Redemption was never released for PC and with Rockstar seeing a lot of returns on PC releases, it’d be hard to imagine they would want to skip a PC release for this.
It’s possible that if this rumor turns out to be true then we could be hearing about it in a few weeks at the Game Awards on December 10th for an early 2021 release. With Grand Theft Auto 5 getting a next generation upgrade next year, it’s possible that 2021 is going to be a huge year for fans of the Rockstar franchises.
