Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection was developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Konami. It is a compilation of 13 previously released games. The games are from the NES, Game Boy, SNES, Sega Genesis consoles as well as arcade cabinets. The games from the Nintendo Entertainment System are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters. The games from the SNES are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters. The games that were on the Sega Genesis were TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist and TMNT: Tournament Fighters. Gameboy’s games were TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan, TMNT II: Back from the Sewers, and TMNT III: Radical Rescue. The arcade games are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and TMNT: Turtles in Time. TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection was released on August 30, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4/5, Steam, and Xbox One and Series S/X.
The game has a lot of extra features that weren’t in the originals. It adds saves, rewind functions, button mapping, as well as online and local co-op.
