Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is a side scrolling video game. It was developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu. The game was released on June 16, 2022 for Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, Windows, and Linux. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is inspired by the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.
Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Raphael are mutated turtles that trained in ninjutsu under their sensei, a mutated rat named Splinter. While the turtles were once ordinary turtles, Splinter was once a man. Both were transformed one day when the turtles were in mysterious green mutagen that altered their DNA. As news breaks that their enemy the Foot Clan is back and taking over New York, they and their friend April O’Neil, a news reporter, leap into action. While at the Channel 6 building, they find Krang’s head. Before they can get to it, Bebop attacks them and it’s taken away during the fight.
After battling the Foot Clan throughout Manhattan, they chase Krang’s body back to Dimension X. Once they defeat a newly reassembled Krang and Shredder, they head back to New York to find that it was a distraction. Unfortunately in their absense, the Statue of Liberty was turned into a robot with Krang in control. After it’s taken down, Shredder uses the mutagen that created the turtles to transform into Super Shredder.
Once Shredder is defeated a final time, the team return to their home and watch in disappointment as the credit of saving the city went to the Punk Frogs. Even without the credit, the team and their friend Casey Jones celebrate with pizza. Once you are done with the game, Casey Jones will be unlocked and you will be able to play the game again as him.
