Saints all hands meetings are weird
Saints Row: The Third is the third game in the Saints Row franchise. It starts with the Saints being the richest, most famous media empire in the world. Even though they have all the money and fame in the world, that doesn’t mean that they don’t still commit crimes for fun.
Let's get to work
While robbing a bank in Stilwater and filming a movie at the same time, the Boss, Shaundie and Johnny get arrested and are turned over to a criminal enterprise known as the Syndicate. As the three are fighting for their escape through an airplane, Gat sacrifices himself so the other two can escape the plane. They end up landing in Steelport broke, with their empire suffering.
These gangs are unrelenting
The Gangs
Steelport is run by the Syndicate’s three gangs, the Morningstar, the Luchadores, and the Deckers. The Saints are then forced to fight their way through each gang to get their fame and fortune back. Their first target: the Morningstar.
What's the plan boss?
Once Loren, leader of the Morningstar is dead, Killbane, leader of the Luchadores, throws a fit and kills Kiki, one of the former heads of the Morningstar. With sister Viola witnessing the murder, she defects to the Saints to help take down the other two gangs. The increased gang activity does not go unnoticed, however, the federal government calls in a military force called STAG to get the city under control. STAG puts the city under martial law.
Ready, aim, fire!
It’s not easy, but they soon take down the Deckers and their leader, Matt Miller, to retire and leave the city. With Killbane all that’s left to deal with, they decide to take him on in a public wrestling match. Once he’s bested in the ring, he runs, leaving the Saints with a choice: pursue him or try to stop STAG.
The Choice
If you stop STAG, you save your gang, you save the city, and the Saints are deemed heroes, with STAG leaving Steelport to the Saints. They then go on to make a movie, Gangstas in Space. That is the canon ending and leads into Saints Row 4. If you pursue Killbane, Shaundie, Viola, and Burt Reynolds (mayor of Steelport) die, a major monument in the city is destroyed, and the Saints are framed for it. Once the Saints destroy STAG’s aircraft carrier, they declare Steelport an independent nation under control of the Saints.
