Red Dead Redemption is an action-adventure game developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on May 18, 2010 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It is the second game in the Red Dead series, following Red Dead Revolver.
Red Dead Redemption is still a masterpiece.
John Marston is forced to work for the Bureau of Investigations after they kidnapped his wife and child. They’re forcing John to hunt down his old gang, with the promise that once they are dealt with his wife Abigail, child Jack, and former gang member, Uncle.
It's so weird that Red Dead's story ends a year before the Titanic.
John gets a warning from his former gang leader that the government won’t just let him walk away when it’s over. With him dead, John is reunited with his family and they spend a few days at their farm until the Bureau surrounds the farm and hunts down John, but not before John gets his wife and son to safety.
Three years after John is killed, Abigail dies which means Jack is free to exact revenge for his father and he tracks down the man responsible for John’s death.
Undead Nightmare was a really great addition to the game.
Undead Nightmare was a standalone DLC for Red Dead Redemption. It saw a new story in a separate timeline in which John was never gunned down. One night Uncle is turned into a zombie and bites Abigail who then bites Jack, it’s up to John to find out what causes this and see if his family can still be saved.
This game has a lot of bugs, one of which had zombies being invisible and unable to be killed, so I wasn’t able to play this through since you can’t beat a game where you need to kill the unkillable.
