Kenshi is a real time strategy action role playing game. It was developed and published by Lo-Fi Games. Kenshi was released on March 20, 2013 as part of Steam’s, at the time, new early access program. The game was given a full release for Windows on December 6, 2018.

Kenshi is a game with no story. You go through a vast post apocalyptic open world where you fight to survive. You won’t just be fighting other soldiers, you will also have to contend against the weather as well. Along the way doing actions will upgrade your skills. There’s permanent death in the game, but dying will let you watch the world continue on without you being able to interact.

Can you free slaves in the game?
Unlocking a slave’s cage or their shackles will free them from their captors. Just because you free them, doesn’t mean they are going to join you. Depending on their personality, they may join and fight with you or they may run away.
Do you need to drink water in Kenshi?
You do not need to drink water. Water exists, but it is to help crops grow and for other gameplay mechanics.
Are there drugs in Kenshi?
Yes. Narcotics once existed in the game. They were introduced the same time that hashish was, but served the same purpose, so they were eventually removed. Hashish is a trade good and an illegal drug made from hemp.
Can you get pregnant in the game?
You cannot get pregnant, get married, or have a family in the base game. There are some mods which will allow you to add these aspects if you want to.
What can you be in it?
Through your actions in the game you can become variety of things, such as a trader, a thief, a rebel, a warlord, a farmer, a slave, or even just food for cannibals. The choices are yours to forge your own path and decide what you are.
How long is jail timer in the game?
Your jail time depends on the crime you commit.
Assault: 10 hours
Burglary: 20 hours
Theft: 50 hours
Escaping Prison: 50 hours
That is assuming you want to actually serve your sentence. You can escape from jail or if you have another character, you can have them pay the bounty and set you free.
What is the maximum skill level in Kenshi?
For most skills the maximum skill level is 100. There are some exceptions that allow you to go even higher, such as robotics and field medic.
Is there an ending to Kenshi?
There’s no story and no formal questline in the game, so therefor there is no actual ending. Even in death you can watch the world continue on without you.
