Banjo-Tooie is a platformer game. It was developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. The game was published by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360. Banjo-Tootie released on November 20, 2000 for the Nintendo 64 console. On April 29, 2009 the game was released for the Xbox 360.

A couple of years after Gruntilda’s demise, her sisters’ find her living as a skeleton underground. The three plot revenge on Banjo, Kazooie and their friends and blow up Banjo’s house, killing Bottles in the process. Banjo, Kazooie, and Mumbo Jumbo vow to avenge Bottles death and also to figure out a way to resurrect him.

This time they are helped by new allies, including Bottles’ drill sergeant brother Jamjars and a Native American shaman named Humba Wumba. Humba Wumba and Mumbo Jumbo do not get along despite both being able to wield magic.

Eventually the team makes it to Gruntilda’s fortress and compete in Tower of Tragedy Trivia Quiz. Banjo and Kazooie reverse the effects of the B.O.B. (Big-O-Blaster) and bring Bottles and King Jingaling back to life. The game ends with the gang playing hacky sack with Gruntilda’s head
