I finally got Halo 2 working last night, I had to download all of the maps again. Anyway, I must say that after playing Halo 3, after seeing all the improvements made to the game, I don’t want to play Halo 2 anymore. It sucks because Halo 2 is my favorite multiplayer game, but after playing Halo 3, I just want to play that. It isn’t because of the graphics, because while they were better, they were still just beta graphics. The graphics are going to look so much better on September 25th than they did in the beta. It needs to hurry up and get here.

As you probably know by now, I absolutely love knives and swords and anything like that. I bought my Katana a while back, and I am looking for new things to buy to go with it. I found a site that really has everything I could ever want, swords, knives, throwing stars, they even sell military tear gas if I wanted it. One of the products that I found was a Spiderman 3 throwing star. I’ve always wanted a throwing stat. and now a Spiderman 3 throwing star, how cool is that? I was looking at their armor earlier, as well, it is pretty nice. I could own a whole chain mail suit for a thousand dollars. Can’t beat that price. I could even buy a lock pick from them.

Some of their clothes are cool too. I want a Not Suitable for Children Shirt. I might also purchase the Banned in 502 Airports t-shirt. I think I will give this site when people ask what I want for Christmas. I don’t normally do this, but I am actually going to sign up to their monthly contest and newsletter, this way I know when they add their latest stuff, and I can be one of the first to buy it.

Okay I have put the sponsored posts back on the main page, I had to it was the only way they’d appear on the actual blog section. I am planning on showing only the non-sponsored posts on the main site, I don’t know if it will necessarily be a hack, but just a way to get stuff out of the database. I blog 2 to 6 times everyday, and I still plan on doing that, so check back, you never know what I plan on putting up a new post.

My blog is on the wp folder, if you looked at the URL of any of the blog posts you’d see that. I tried to hide the sponsored posts from lepslair, while still having them appear on the wp section. That didn’t work out too great. You don’t see the sponsored posts on the wp section. I thought it was just the lepslair that didn’t see them. I am going to be putting the sponsored posts back on, but I am going to find a way to take them off the main site and leave them just on the wp section, seeing as how that IS my blog.

There’s a commercial for Head On that all you do is apply it directly to the forehead. You buy this product and put it on your forehead, but what does that do?

Does it make head aches go away? Does it help with brain freeze? It doesn’t say. Maybe it gives psychic powers, afterall you do put it on your head.

The website doesn’t even say what it does, why would anyone buy a product that you don’t know what it does? Well apparently this product gives relief to headaches, but the Better Business Bureau asked them now to say that, because they simply don’t know if it works. So whose buying this product that has no real benefits according to anyone? Obviously someone if they can afford a commercial.

If you told me last year that I would be working on a website that and getting paid for it, I would have thought you were nuts. The fact is that when I took this job, I didn’t know anything about PHP and I definitely didn’t think that I’d ever get the first part done, let alone be well into the second part of the project.

I guess it is true what they say, how can you know what you can handle, if you only keep handling the things you know you can?

I didn’t realize that the Canadian mail was so slow. I need to wait 4 to 6 weeks for delivery for my Wii. You’d think that considering they are so close, that the mailing system would be quicker. I mean they are officially known as, thanks to the Simpsons, America Jr. Oh well, the 360 will have to hold my attention for now. It looks like I will have a few weeks with the Wii and then I will be alone with Master Chief for a while when I play Halo 3.

I want to build a server. I have my mother’s old computer that came with Windows ME on it, that now has XP, and I have my old computer that started with Windows 98, but easily handled XP. I don’t know if I would use one I have, or just wait until I buy new parts and build my machine now into a server. Probably not, because I don’t need a computer yet, and I don’t do much gaming on my rig to really justify it.

I found a Wii on Ebay for $270 plus $40 shipping. Now anyone who knows anything about hot items knows that since November, when it first came out, you couldn’t find them anywhere. When you did find them they were hiked up astronomically. Well this is a Canadian seller, so I am assuming that the price is the price in Canada and they didn’t up it any, or at least not much anyway. So in a few days, hopefully by Tuesday we will have a Wii on our doorstep.

So I announced that I would play Halo 3 for 24 hours straight. Well I have been hammering out the details, but I still don’t know whether or not I can get the game at midnight or at 9AM during normal store hours. If it is at 9AM, then I will wake up at 8:30 and go there and wait. I will probably be blogging, giving the run down every few hours or so, giving my first opinions, whatever. KIf anyone wants to come and say hello, then by all means go ahead. I wikll be cleaning out my Xbox Live friends list and only saving people that I play with regularly. So if yuou want to be send me a friend invite, my name is leprakhauns.

As for the normal everyday things (eating, bathroom, etc) I will probably eat something quick, maybe order a pizza and eat while I am not killing people, or getting killed. I will be using the bathroom regularly, afterall this isn’t hold your wee for a Wii. I’ll let you guys know more when I know more.

I bought Krissy Tetris Evolution, I played it for about an hour and didn’t even earn one achievement. Now I don’t expect all games to just give you achievements right away, but come on. An hour of making blocks disappear and nothing to show for it. Hopefully Halo 3 will be easier.

I’ve been thinking about picking up Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. I love the X-Men Legends and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games, so I figured it might be fun, but there’s a lack of online multiplayer so I am apprehensive. Anyone play it? Also I might pick up Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I played it in the Sony store on the PS3 when I was in Atlantic City, but I don’t know if I want to pick that up either, most of the levels look the same as X-Men Legends. I might pick it up for some online multiplayer, that is if anyone still plays it.

If you went to your favorite sites today and they were gone, it probably wasn’t a coincidence. Apparently someone took out most of a data center down in San Francisco earlier today. The person was drunk, and the power outages in the area definitely didn’t help the situation. Most of the sites seem to be back online now, though. I wonder how someone would have been able to get in there, you’d think there’d be security for a place that houses high end sites like Craigslist, Adbrite, and a bunch of others.
