We seem to have acquired fleas. We think it may be from going to this one particular vet. You can’t blame the vetrinarian’s office though, I’m sure if they knew they had fleas then something would be done about it. It might not even be from there, we really don’t know. What we do know is that we are spraying the house down with flea and tick killer. Apparently it is better than a bomb because it is more controlled.

Fleas don’t seem like it is a big deal down here. Everyone seems to have had them at one time or another. At least now I don’t feel so ashamed.

I want to register Lep’s Lair as a business. I know it doesn’t make much sense now, but if it was a business then I could pay into Social Security and all that good stuff. I could also get Small Business Loans so that I can advertise my website and increase the revenue. I doubt I will do that though. If I did I would get a loan with ezunsecured because they have fast funding. I hate waiting for things, so the quicker I can get something, the quicker that I can be on my merry way doing something else. Plus they have great service, so if I need any help or anything, I doubt I would though, but if I did then I could get it from them.

I am wearing one of the gloves I used when I was moving furniture because my wrist hurts. I figure if it helps bowlers then it should help me right? It is keeping the pain to a minimum, but it still hurts if I make sudden movements with it. I have a lot of work to do and I basically took the day off yesterday to play some Rocket Races so I can’t take another day off today. I might just do the bare minimum today just to get by and then rest up my wrist the rest of the day.

My host doesn’t use Cpanel, they use their own back end program I still have a Linux host, but I would rather have someone with Cpanel. I got so used to using Cpanel because my clients use it. I have a few and they all have Cpanel. I mean I can’t blame hosts for using it, it is a solid program that you can’t beat. It is expensive though, and most hosts have to charge more for a lot less because it of the price, but if you can find cheap business web hosting that has Cpanel then you are most likely set. I say business hosting because they usually offer you more space than a personal web host.

You can do a lot with ecommerce hosting. You could open your own online store, by using the tools they have to your advantage. Nowadays it is extremely easy to open your own business online. You could sell something that you make, or even resell something that you can buy in bulk. You can even work with a drop shipper where you don’t buy anything until someone pays you and then you enter their shipping information and the company will ship it to them. With these options, why wouldn’t you open your own business?

There seems to be confusion with the Rocket Race post. First off a Mongoose is an ATV, not an animal. Secondly your partner is on the back of the Mongoose shooting rockets trying to prevent the other team from scoring. Think Mario Kart on steroids. Unlike Mario Kart though, you can get off the Mongoose and just keep preventing people from moving. If you keep blowing up their Mongoose they won’t be able to go anywhere. That is the best part about the game, people get so pissed off saying how I am not playing the game right, but all I am doing is preventing them from winning. It is a lot of fun, something that Halo 3 definitely needed.

Computers have been out for about twenty years or so, at least that is when they really started going from just being in companies to start being in people’s homes. It surprises me when people don’t know how to do simple tasks on a computer like create a new folder or open a program. I was a student helper for Brookdale, and there was one class everyone was required to take, unless you were a Computer Science major. That course was an introduction course where you create Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access programs. The beginning part of the course was to open documents and create new folders, the real basic things. Now I would expect some of the older students (above 40) to need assistance, but I was shocked when so many people my age didn’t know how to do even the simplest of tasks.

I always thought that computer training was for people who didn’t grow up in the information age. Now I know that even though people have grown up around computers, they still might need introductorycomputer courses. Knowing a computer system well is one of the solid things that you are going to need to know to succeed in the business world nowadays. If you have that and leadership skills then you will most likely succeed. If you don’t have leadership skills, you can take a course on that too.

Leadership training will help you become a better team leader, and when you get that big promotion it will help you be a good boss. Leadership is very important nowadays, a good leader will know when something isn’t working and change it on the fly, while keeping his or her employees motivated.

I ordered a DV cable from Amazon a few days ago. I need it if I ever want to put movies on the computer and edit them. The price was only $4 with $5 shipping, so it wasn’t too bad, but the estimated arrival date is December 5th. I don’t want to wait that long, it is bad enough that I need to use Krissy’s computer because mine doesn’t have a Firewire port, but now I need to wait until December? That is ridiculous. Hopefully it will be here sooner than that, much sooner.

Luther Sales lets you buy furniture on credit. They have more than just furniture though, they have electronics. The house could look like hell, we could have torn couches, need a new coffee table, with paint peeling off the wall, if I can get a new television then that would be my first purchase. I care more about the television than I do about some new couches or paint. Call me crazy if you want, but I love electronics. I would like to buy a new television, an LCD high definition flat screen. Krissy told me to take it out of the loan money, but I would rather pay back my credit cards first and then maybe purchase a television, or at least buy it on credit this way I can pay it back little by little.

I am planning on buying a television, but I don’t think I will be doing it until after the holidays are over, this way I can be sure that I have enough money. Afterall I spent enough money on Krissy’s Christmas gift, anmd I need to figure out what to get my mother, but after those are said and done I just gotta figure out what we are doing about other people.

Bungie updated the Halo 3 playlist to include rocket races. Up until now I had never heard of them, but it is fun. Basically you are on a Mongoose and are invincible and you have rockets to shoot at the other players. The goal is to get to each destination before the other. I have been playing all day and I love it. Especially when I am the VIP and I get to knock people off their path, and their Mongoose.

I have been going to the community gym a few times a week for a couple weeks. Even though the gym is right up the road, it is still a pain to actually go there and work out. I think I would rather have in house fitness equipment. This way I can work out in the morning or at night, in the comfort of my own home, with music blasting, and not have to worry about wiping down machines, or anything like that.

I don’t know what it is about going to the gym, it isn’t working out that is the problem, it is just getting up and going there. Maybe it is the thought of how many people use the equipment, although not many people appear to be going, sometimes I will go and then a couple days later I will go again and I am the last one to sign in, two times in a row. Whatever it is, I would just rather have my own equipment

With the fall update coming next month, Microsoft has announced that you will be able to download XBox 1 games. The announced games so far are Halo, Psychonauts, Fable, and Crimson Skies. Whether they will have any new features like Achievements is yet to be seen. The games will sell for $15 this December.
