I Didn’t Break Anything

We were shorthanded on Saturday so guess who had to go on the truck and do deliveries? That’s right. I am happy to announce that I did not break anything, or damage any homes in the process of my deliveries. I just hope that I don’t need to do it again this Saturday because I am going to pick up my girlfriend and thats a long drive, so I’ll be napping on the way up there if I do deliveries, and that’s never a good thing to do when you’re driving.

In other news I am still looking to make some money off this site, not become rich or anything (if it happens, however, I won’t be ungrateful), just enough to break even. The way things are going so far, however, within a few weeks I should be able to do it.

Loss for Words

I picked up a copy of X-Men 3 yesterday, mainly because of the emphasis they were putting on the deleted scenes and alternate endings. but they weren’t enough to save the movie. I also watched Fever Pitch and the first season of the Office. See what happens when my girlfriend is away for the day and I am off from work?

I’m really at a loss for words recently. I found out some bad news today, but not really wiling to share it with the world seeing as how it isn’t my bad news to share so I guess until next time this will do.

Back from Ohio

I left for Ohio, Friday afternoon around 12. I get there at 7 or 8, and we go and check out the place they rented for the wedding reception, only it is being used as a locker room for a football team. We speak to the cops at the football game and we get everything sorted out. After the game we would go there so the cook can prep the food and all that good stuff, but before we’re about to leave Brett gets a call saying that he can’t go there that night because of the game. After arguing for a half hour, it comes down to the fact that they have to wait the next day to do anything. So instead we go hang out at a bonfire in the park, I have a bottle of champagne and a few shots and I can’t remember the night, but apparently I did some shit that I was apologizing for the next day.

Saturday is the day of the reception and everything was going fine, until we realize what time it was and we hurried the fuck outta there and went back to his place to get ready really quick. The reception ended around 8, so at 11 we went to a haunted house that was pretty sweet. We used to make haunted houses every year and I think if I had my own place then I’d deck it out more for Halloween than any other holiday.

Sunday as I was getting ready to drive home, Breelynn was crying and Brett was offering to pay me to stay, which if I didn’t have work the next day, I’m not sure when or if I would come back at all. It’s beautiful out there.

I got back Sunday night, and I thought I would have some pictures up by now, but I woke up yesterday sick as a dog and haven’t really been doing much of staying in bed playing video games and sleeping. I have work tomorrow, but if work keeps slowing down then I might be out of a job all together, then I don’t know what I’d do.

Ohio…

So I know I haven’t really been around much on here or on the internet in general, but I have been busy with going to see the girlfriend and with my best friend’s wedding and with working, so I hope you all can understand. As I am writing this I am getting ready to leave for Ohio for the final rounds of his wedding. When I return I will probably put some unfinished sections onl,ine just so I can add more content and have the need to finish them quickly. I will also be taking my camera with lots of batteries so I can get some nice shots during my trip. I will be back on Sunday, seeing as how I have work on Monday so I hope you all have a great weekend and I will be back with lots to show (hopefully).

Back from the Wedding

So I just got back from my best friend’s wedding. I was there this past weekend and I am going to Ohio for the reception for the bride’s parents this coming weekend. I gave a speech this weekend, and I will be giving another one next weekend. I think I am going to change it up, though. I hate public speaking, so when I stood up I was really nervous. Everyone thought the speech was great, though so maybe I’ll put it online.

Life’s been pretty boring otherwise, I’ve just been working. Last week I went to visit the girlfriend, that was pretty nice.

Just Got Paid

About a month ago I put up a blog where I wrote PayPerPost, and some people told me that it was a scam, that nobody would pay you for blogging, but guess what? I got paid. When I woke up this morning I had money in my PayPal account. Even I was skeptical at first, but now that they’ve paid up, I can start posting more from this site. Maybe now I can make enough money each month that I can actually move out of Delaware and up to New York.

Croikie

So as you may or may not have heard Steve Irwen, the crocodile hunter, died today. He didn’t die from a crocodile, however, instead he died from a stingray attack. For those of you who don’t know, stingrays are very peaceful animals and will only attack when feeling threatened. In fact there have only been three stingray attacks reported in the Australian waters. I normally don’t find tragedy funny, but who would have seen this coming? I honestly thought when he died it would have been like in Dr. Dolittle 2 where he is attacked by a crocodile, not a peaceful stingray.

A New Blog

Okay so I got some emails reguarding why I was ditching PHPBB, but the fact is I am not ditching anything, only adding to the limited functionality of the PHPBB system as a blog. WordPress offers much more and when integrated, it is very powerful. I have already used a plugin for the WordPress system to create a Wishlist page on the Me section, and much more will be coming soon. I also have an archive section coming soon.

Catcher in the Rye

Work is all right, my body adjusted to moving furniture and now I can move pretty much anything they throw at me. It seems to have slowed down a lot since I started there, we don’t have truck loads of furniture or work that needs to be moved, only about maybe 30-40 pieces a day which is nothing to the 120 we were moving.

With this less furniture that has to be moved, there are gaps in the day which there’s nothing to do, so I am usually waiting in someone’s office reading until I am called. Right now I’m rereading Catcher in the Rye, I think I may have started it a few years ago, but I’m not too sure if I ever finished it.

In my Me section, I added a DVD List of all the DVDs that I own, someone asked me a while ago how many DVDs I own, since I am such a movie whore. Well now my DVD collection is online, I usually buy more each month so it will be updated quite frequently.

One Month

Ever have that one special person in your life that it may seem crazy and impossible to work, but somehow it just does, somehow your feelings, your heart knows what it wants and needs? Ever have that one special person that logically it will make your head spin, but when your with that person or talk to that person, everything makes sense, everything just falls into place?

One month ago I was holding this girl close in my arms and I was looking down at her and I knew that I had to ask her to be my girlfriend, no matter how impossible it may have been at the time. Some people say that the first months of a relationship is critical, but not to be blindsided by the whole “Cinderella Period”.

I don’t think either one of us can say that this month has been perfect, there’s been ups and downs, lefts and rights, but we’re still here. We aren’t perfect by any means, we fight at times, and drunk nights can be a little revealing, but we make it through.

Probably the sweetest, yet ridiculously funny thing she did was call me up wishing me a happy one month yesterdau, getting confused as to which date it was (not when I asked her out, but the date of yesterday.

So this blog is mainly about one person in particular, which all I have to say to her is Happy One Month, baby.
