Two Point is a business simulation franchise developed by Two Point Studios and published by Sega, set in the shared fictional world of Two Point County. Founded in 2016 by Gary Carr, Mark Webley, and Seb Starr, veterans of Theme Hospital, Black and White, and Fable, the studio has released three games building on the same management simulation formula across different institutions. Two Point Hospital in 2018 launched the franchise as a spiritual successor to the classic 1997 Theme Hospital, Two Point Campus in 2022 moved the setting to universities, and Two Point Museum in March 2025 is the most commercially and critically successful entry in the series.
Two Point Hospital released August 30, 2018, for PC and macOS, with console ports arriving on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2020. The game tasked players with building and running hospitals in Two Point County, treating patients with fictional diseases through absurd diagnostic and treatment room setups, managing staff happiness and patient flow, and balancing the competing demands of running a functional medical institution and an economically viable business. The spiritual relationship to Bullfrog Productions’ 1997 Theme Hospital, on which Two Point Studio founders Gary Carr and Mark Webley had worked, was explicit in the game’s design and reception. Two Point Hospital established the aesthetic, the humor register, and the fictional geography that the subsequent games in the series would build on.
Two Point Campus released August 9, 2022, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, Nintendo Switch, and PC simultaneously. The game replaced the hospital setting with a university campus, tasking players with building lecture halls, student spaces, and extracurricular facilities to attract and educate students across courses ranging from conventional to deliberately absurd. Three downloadable content packs followed: Space Academy in December 2022, School Spirits in March 2023, and Medical School in August 2023. Campus was received positively though with a slightly cooler critical response than Hospital, with reviewers noting the setting felt less immediately distinctive than the medical premise.
Two Point Museum released March 4, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version following October 28, 2025. Directed by Ben Huskins and developed by a team of approximately forty people, the game introduced expedition mechanics that sent staff to uncover exhibits across several biome-themed expedition maps, adding a collection layer to the management simulation that gave players a reason to revisit completed museums for new discoveries. The game received the strongest critical reception in the series, with reviewers praising the expedition system as the most original mechanical addition the franchise had introduced since its founding.
Two Point Museum: Fantasy Finds was the first downloadable content pack, followed by Two Point Museum: Zooseum on December 2, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and Series S, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version targeting Q1 2026. Zooseum added a zoo adjacent to the museum, with players rescuing, treating, and exhibiting wildlife in a new Silverbottom Park location and campaign.
