Little Kitty, Big City is a cozy adventure game where a small black kitten tumbles from a high-rise window and has to find the way home. The journey is less about getting there and more about exploring a compact urban neighborhood, knocking things off shelves, chasing birds, and helping the surprisingly opinionated animals that live nearby. The game was a day one release on Game Pass, that’s how I played it. The game was exactly what I needed, a low stakes game with no pressure and a lot of charm.
Little Kitty Big City Gameplay
The game nails the cat fantasy. Stretching, pouncing, knocking things over, and darting through alleys all feel right. The city is small but dense with personality, with shops, hidden corners, and animal characters that give it life. The visual style is colorful and cartoonish without feeling cheap, and the tone stays playful throughout. It runs well in short sessions, the kind of game that fits perfectly into a half hour between other things. Why not run around for a few minutes a day tripping people in the city?
Little Kitty Big City Length and Replay Value
The main criticism is the length. Most people will finish it in two to four hours, and the map is small enough that the sense of exploration fades quickly. The narrative stays light throughout, which is fine for what it is, but there is not much pulling players back after the credits roll. If short games bother you, this one will not change your mind.
Is Little Kitty Big City Worth Playing?
Little Kitty, Big City is exactly what it looks like, a short, charming, low-pressure cat game with no ambitions beyond being fun for a few hours. It succeeds completely at that. With it being playable on Game Pass it is an easy recommendation.
