Spider-Man: Brand New Day is an upcoming movie from Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. It’s the fourth Spider-Man movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This will be Spider-Man’s sixth appearance in the MCU. It’s set to feature The Hulk and the Punisher will appear in the movie as well. This will be Bernthal’s first MCU movie appearance and the first time anyone from the Defenders has appeared in a MCU movie.
I personally can’t wait for this. Spider-Man is my favorite superhero and seeing him with the Hulk and Punisher is going to bring back some major 90s Spider-Man cartoon memories.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day Cast
Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker alongside Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner. Jon Bernthal reprises his role as Frank Castle, connecting the film directly to the Daredevil corner of the MCU. Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman as Bill Metzger, and Michael Mando as Mac Gargan round out the cast, with Mando’s Scorpion making his return after first appearing in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The film picks up four years after the events of No Way Home, with Peter Parker living completely alone after voluntarily erasing himself from the memories of everyone he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, the relentless pressure of being a full-time Spider-Man triggers a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, while a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It is the 38th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the fifth installment of Phase Six. The film releases in theaters on July 31, 2026.
