Daredevil is Reborn! Born Again is a return to form for Matt Murdoch

PROS

  • A return to form for Matt Murdoch! Charlie Cox delivers his most mature and emotionally grounded performance yet. The show brings Daredevil back to the gritty, conflicted version fans loved, leaving behind the lighter, out of place tone of his She-Hulk appearance. This season feels like the character finally coming home.
  • Wilson Fisk Is Better Than Ever! Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin remains one of Marvel’s greatest villains, and Season 1 gives him new layers to explore. He’s colder, more calculated, and more politically dangerous, making him the perfect counterweight to Matt’s internal struggle. Every scene he’s in feels heavy.
  • A Grounded Tone That Actually Works! The season embraces a darker, more deliberate style without slipping into misery or edge for edge’s sake. It trusts the audience, builds tension slowly, and focuses on character over spectacle. The result is a prestige style superhero drama that feels confident, cohesive, and genuinely compelling.

CONS

  • Not enough Foggy! While Elden Henson did come back as Foggy Nelson, but it was only for one episode and it wasn't enough.
