Dead Static Drive is a top down driving game that meets survival horror. It was developed and published by Reuben Games. The game was released for Windows and Xbox One on November 5, 2025. The game was released day one into Game Pass and is a Play Anywhere title.

After waking up in a motel to a banging on the door by someone demanding $30. You decide to sneak out the back door and head to your parents’ house to see if they could lend you the money. Along the way you notice some other worldly creatures out to attack.
Along the way, you come across allies that will join you on your journey, you can have up to 3 at a time and can dismiss and add new ones as you come across them. When you get to your parents’ house, it is engulfed in flames. With no clear reason why the house was destroyed, it becomes clear that the fire and these creatures are somehow related.
You meet a man named Marcus, but eventually transforms into a giant blob. He explains what is happening, that another reality is leaking into ours. In order to stop this, you must remove six anchor. The anchors are teeth like stones from this other world. Once they are removed you start to drive home, when suddenly you hear from Marcus. He informs you that your parents are still alive and that he will help you get to them.
