We reported yesterday that only two games were confirmed for Xbox Game Pass for December, but today they have confirmed one more game. Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is set to come to Game Pass on December 4th. While three games is not a lot for a month, it seems like it might trickle throughout the month of announcements and then releases. As I mentioned yesterday, they might be holding back some Game Pass announcements for the Game Awards.
This latest announcement for Game Pass is just the latest game coming to the service from Activision Blizzard King, since Microsoft acquired them last year. Since then games have been slowly coming to the service starting with Diablo. The latest game before this was Spyro Reignited, which dropped in November. I just played it myself so expect a write-up on it fairly soon.
The next game coming from Xbox Blizzard King might have been leaked already. It seems one user on Reddit has Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time available to stream on his Firestick. He claims to not own the game, so the fact he can stream it would mean that it would have to be available for the service. With how light December seems to be, it could mean that we are about to see some Microsoft owned IPs hit the service in a big way.
Are you excited about the latest Game Pass announcement? What about the potential for Crash Bandicoot 4 to come to the service next? I know I am, I just played the n’Sane Trilogy and I would love to be able to play all the games in the series without purchasing them individually.
