Control is an action-adventure video game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by 505 Games released in 2019. In December of 2019 it was mentioned by Phil Spencer (head of Xbox) that Control would be coming to Game Pass, it was later rescinded, but still fans had hope that it was a leak that shouldn’t have happened and that it would be coming to Game Pass soon. Months passed and Control was released on PS Now shortly before its first story based DLC in March 2020. Later in 2020, Control would come to Game Pass for Xbox, then in 2021 it would come to Game Pass for PC.
The second DLC titles AWE linked up with the Alan Wake series and bridged the gap between them. In the end of the DLC it was teased that Alan Wake would be having a new book in 2022. Speculation is that it was a way to announce a sequel to Alan Wake and that we might hear more about it at E3 2021 (assuming there is an E3 2021 with COVID).
Control going live image
Control is about a woman who experienced some strange things while a child and who’s brother was taken by this mysterious organization that you now are trying to get a job with to uncover what happened back then.
Why are these people floating?
Not long after getting the job, you head into the Director’s office to see them die. Would people think you were involved? You should tell someone.
This guy had to watch this refrigerator. He couldn't take his eyes off of it and asked for help. I didn't help him, I let him sit there and watch it.
No one blamed you for the Director’s death, but now you were the Director. You were in charge, which lead to the question of why wasn’t every door open for you and why did you still need to find special key cards for what level doors you wanted to open. Surely the Director would be able to open ever door.
We can move objects with our mind. We can shove them and we can use them as a force field barrier around us.
Eventually you find your brother and the mysterious being in your head that lets you move objects that came from another dimension.
