Hot Tubs

If we move to the mobile home then might buy a hot tub. We both have bad backs and a hot tub really does wonders, especially when combined with a very comfortable bed. If we are going to be moving ourselves, then a nice relaxing hot tub might be exactly what we need. If we got a hottubm we’d definitely look into the Best Spa Covers from HotTubWorks. They have some cool ones, and a cover would keep the leaves, bugs, and even dead animals out of the hot tub. Nothing worse than having a dead raccoon floating in your tub, or frogs making their home in it.

DENIED

It looks like we were turned down for the loan, but nothing on the credit report says anything bad, so we are reapplying for it with a lot of huffing and puffing because it is bullshit reasons why we got turned down. What bullshit reasons? Well late payments when there wasn’t any on the reports. Hopefully we can dispute it and get the loan. I’ll keep you posted.

Regcure

I recently had some problems with my computer. I had to get a new graphics card, and that helped a lot, but it didn’t fix all the problems I was having. Then I read a Regcure Review. When I used that, my computer started working much better, and I was able to get much more done, especially now that I don’t have to worry about random reboots, or freezing.

Photo Gallery Soon?

I went looking through my hard drive at all the unfinished things that I have started, but never got around to finishing. I started working on a few more sections, but I don’t know when any of them will get done. I will hopefully have a new photo gallery up soon, hopefully before we move to Ohio, but I don’t know if I will considering I have a lot to do with work.

Spiderman: Friend or Foe

I downloaded the Spiderman: Friend or Foe demo. I don’t know if it is supposed to be a sequel to Spiderman 3 or not, but it does have Harry alive and well in his New Goblin costume. I am not sure what that means considering he was Spiderman’s enemy in the comic and the new costume only showed up in the movies. Well besides that, the demo is missing what I have come to love from recent superhero games. I miss the idea of going all over the city, instead you are confined into predefined levels.

My biggest problem with the game is the fact that Venom doesn’t have a web line, in fact Venom is slower than usual, and that is annoying because he is my favorite character. I couldn’t bare to play the game through again as Spiderman and Green Goblin, so I just played it once as Spiderman and Venom.

All in all the video game seems like it would be lacking for anyone over the age of 10. If predefined levels don’t bother you, then you might like this game, but I for one don’t even want to look at it until they open up a sandbox style game.

Moen Faucets

Since we might be buying a mobile home instead of renting an apartment, we’ve been talking about how we’d like things. She wants pale green walls and everything bright and airy, which is fine. I might try and convince her to let me take out the old fixtures and put in new Moen faucets. I have always liked the look of a Moen faucet, of course I never knew what they were called until I looked it up online. I think it would be great if we had a nice white tiled bathroom and we had really great looking Moen fixtures. Now I just need to figure out how to put them in without having to pay for that.

Maybe a Mobile Home

We might be moving into a mobile home that would cost us about $300 a month to live in. It is a lot better than living in an apartment for $700 to $800 a month. The best part is that if we don’t like something, then it can be changed. I mean say there is a wall we don’t like, we can take the wall out completely. I think this is going to be much better than living in an apartment, especially with so many of them converting to section 8.

Taking a Loan

Krissy and I have close to no money. I mean yes we have money for food, the everyday bills, we have the money for all that. We even have money for rent in a new place. What we don’t have is the money to get my car fixed or to go to Ohio to look for a new place. That is why we took out an Unsecured Line of Credit. We did it unsecured because we don’t need to put up any collateral. We should know whether or not we have the money by my birthday, September 21st. I hope we get the money.

Playstation 3

Someone emailed me earlier this week about why I talk about the Wii and the 360, but don’t say anything about the Playstation 3. There is a simple answer, at this point in time, I don’t see any reason to own one. Yes, it has wireless bluetooth controllers that are motion sensitive and it comes packed with a Blu-Ray disk drive. Well I don’t know if Blu-Ray will win the console war, and there aren’t enough games for it that I am interested in. Lair looks good, but from what I’ve read the controls are sloppy. Resistance: Fall of Man looks too much like Gears of War for me to get excited about, and the only game that I would actually want is Warhawk, and I cannot justify buying a console for one game.

I was a Sony fan long after they announced the Playstation 3. It was the price that made me turn away from them. Plus the Playstation 2 online was difficult to succumb to. Xbox 360 has the addition of a simple online service and the addition of the a gamer score, pretty much has the online play covered. Yes Playstation online is free, but I would rather pay as long as I don’t have to pay as muchas the Playstation 3.

Calendars

The holidays are upon us, and we all know what that means. Among buying presents for people whom you don’t really like and going crazy trying to find the perfect gift for people you do actually like, you need to buy a new calendar. For me buying a print calendar is kind of annoying because I don’t like cute and fuzzy things and the inspirational ones all show the same 12 images, just at different angles. I’m not even keen on a Family Guy cal;endar or Simpsons calendar.

For my 2008 calendar I am thinking about getting a custom one made. Maybe a picture of Krissy and I for one month, Bella for another month, some art she or I did for the others. I don’t know I just think a custom calendar is much more fun, because most of the time people who see it will flip through and look at the different months. This way if it is personal it is a piece of art and tells a story so you actually want people to flip through the calendar and know the story. That’s just my take on it, anyway.

After the year is over, you can take those images and frame them to make art all around your house, so that the next year if you decide to do another custom one, you can use all new images.

Changing Plans

So I just got off the phone with my friend who lives in Ohio and he kind of brought up some stuff that we didn’t even know. Apparently the bills out there are much different than here. He pays like $30 a month for electric compared to the $250 a month here, that alone will save us a lot of money. I think we might be moving very soon, maybe we will be all moved in by Halloween, well hopefully anyway. I’ll keep everyone posted on the moving plans and how they change when I know more.
