New Layout

So the new layout is up. The sidebar was inspired by my computer. It isn’t the best, maybe when I get inspired by something else I will make a new layout, or allow people to choose their own like Lissy. Leave some feedback on the new layout, I’d like to know what you guys think. Now I’m going to make the pages XHTML compliant.

Delaware 2nd Time Round

Well we should be leaving for Delaware in a few hours. I stayed up all night working on my new layout, which will basically be like this just graphic heavy. Don’t worry about load times though, I have it all taken care of. We’re going to look at a few mobile home parks down there; this time round actually make an appointment with a realtor to see some. I am starting to feel the affects of being up all night, maybe this wasn’t a good idea.

The area in which my mom wants to move is known for having a highly gay population. She’s not a lesbian, she just likes the beach, and down there she could actually afford to live by the beach. No more than 5 miles away from the beach in fact. Well I’m going to try and finish up these graphics and I’ll see my loyal read

Another trip to Delaware

It looks like two of my favorite singers are splitting up. Good luck to Comradef and Lucy Doll in their future solo endeavers.

I haven’t really been doing the graphics for the site as much as some flash things for an introduction. It’s coming along, just needs some tweaking. I’m still doing the layout, but still getting the house in order is taking up a lot of time. In related news my mother and I are going back down to Delaware on Monday to look at houses. She actually found one online that is perfect, just what we need, and we can afford it. It’s actually really funny because I took a picture of it the last time we were down there, without knowing anything about it.

Short post today so I leave you with this: Everything happens for a reason, we may not know the reasons why, we may never understand them, but they happen for a reason.

An Object in Motion…

[Edit] My good friend Mike just emailed me about his CD coming out. Check it out here.[/Edit]

Newton stated that an object in motion will remain in motion until an outside force acts on it. With my grandmother breaking her hip, we figured it would be best if we moved her up to my mother’s room, my mother to my room, and me to the basement. I have been an object in motion, running around for the past few days getting everything together. I had to empty the basement to put a rug in (first time and it worked) so the house is full of furniture. When everything is in right rooms I will have a room tour of my new basement room.

In other other news I have an appointment on August 16 for a scholarship. I got it last year it is given out from the state of NJ and it pays for books and gas and some school. I am still somewhat short for next semester and I hope they pay the same amount as last year so I don’t need to take out a loan. When it gets closer to September I will post my schedule. I’d do it now but I don’t feel like finding it. I know I’m taking Object Oriented Programming using C++, an Introduction to Unix course, and a Visual Basic course. I took Visual Basic in high school and I remember it somewhat. I stole my book from highschool and I have Visual Basic on my computer. My high school teacher was always pushing me to my limits shopwing me the right way to program and drilled it into my head that just because you can write code and make something work, if it doesn’t work the right way, the best way, then you cannot call yourself a programmer. If it wasn’t for Mr. Munson, then I don’t know if I’d even know half of what I know about programming. Then my astronomy teacher, Mr. Bickart showed me how to utlize Photoshop and Flash MX and vector images. So to them both, I say thank you.

I am still working on the site I have not given up. I have a few images I’m working on and a few layout ideas that I am trying.

7/7/05 A Day of Infamy

In case you haven’t heard, London was terrorized this morning. Three trains and one bus were planted with bombs. At least 33 people are dead. This comes one day after they won the bid to hold the Olympics there. I’m sure my faithful readers will join with me in saying that in the US our thoughts and prayers go out to those in London.

I’m Still Here

I came back from Delaware a few days ago and I’m still beat from it. I’m working on a new design that’s taking up a lot of my time, plus fixing things up at home. I will post some pictures of the trip once I get the design up. Don’t worry I didn’t disappear.
