If you look closely at Hillary Clinton, just a quick glance, she might be mistaken as a man. A white man, what we have in office now, what we have had in office for over 200 years. If you take a quick glance at Obama, you can tell he is black. Now I am not writing this to put anyone down, I am writing this to prove a point. The president is what other countries sees as America. I think we all know that we need a change in this country. Just on first glance, Obama looks like the candidate that is unlike the others.
I am for Obama because he has stated that by the end of his first term he will have a Universal Healthcare System in place. Now a lot of people are afraid that it will lead more and more into Socialism, and people want to stay as democratic as possible. Do people really believe that America is still a democracy? He who has the money had the power, he who has the power makes the rules. That isn’t called Democracy, that is called Capitalism. America is a Capitalist country, but to say that a Universal Healthcare system would turn America into a Socialist Nation is bullshit.
If that was the case then we need to take out all of the Socialistic aspects of America. Want to send a letter? Well it is going to cost you a lot more than 41 cents to travel that whole way. Social Security would be gone too, but with a name like Social Security is it any shock it is a Socialistic aspect?
People die everyday because of not having health care, I don’t have health insurance, Krissy doesn’t have health insurance, and I am going to pull a Michael J Fox on you all and say this: if you don’t support Universal Healthcare then you are saying that it is all right for us to die if something happens, you are saying that it is all right for everyone to die who don’t have health care. If you are against abortions and are against Universal Healthcare then you are a hypocrite because you are saying that if the mother cannot afford health insurance then she and the baby can both die. Do you really want THAT on your conscience?
I just met you on MySpace. I must agree with your thoughts here. America needs change in many areas. It starts from the top down.
