|Just Do It Yourself||September 29th, 2007|
With the potential of buying this place in Ohio, one thing comes to mind. Home repairs. Now I know a little about how to do things around the house, but when it comes to older homes and home repair, knowledge is power. You don’t want to be spending money on a repairman if you could do it yourself. There is a website that will help you become the knowledgable repairman that you know you can be, and you know you want to be. It is called doityourself.com. With doityourself.com they offer tips and advice on everything from how to wire older home to replacing the roof. They have over 100 active forums for you to ask a question in, so you never have to feel alone with your projects.
Of course asking and seeing are two separate things, that is why they offer DVDs on how to do things. How many times have you been involved in a project reading what to do, when if you saw somebody do it then you could have probably done it right the first time, instead of paying for your mistakes? The DVDs are a lifesaver when it comes to home improvement projects, even something as simple as changing out a light fixture could be disasterous if you don’t know what you are doing, so having a step by step DVD to show you couldn’t hurt right?

|New XBL Mic||September 29th, 2007|
I went to EB Games last night and got a new microphone for my 360. It seems stronger than my previous one, that came witrh my 360, so that is good, plus this one only cost me ten dollars and I had money on a gift card, so technically it was free. I would have liked to get a wireless one, but I don’t have sixty bucks to spend on that right now, especially with a car that could die at any time.

|Free Raleigh, NC Getaway||September 28th, 2007|
I vaguely remember being in North Carolina as a child. From what I remember, it was beautiful with lots of trees and a nice climate, not too hot, not too cold, of course I was young so I don’t remember much, so it could have been spring, I am not really sure. What I do know is that I would love to go there one day. If I could go there for free Fall Getaway, that would be even better.
There’s a contest going on that you could win a FREE Raleigh Getaway. If you win you will receive one night accommodations for two at the Courtyard by Marriott Raleigh Crabtree Valley, a $25 gift certificate to Bloomsbury Bistro, free VIP admission for two to Rum Runners, 2 tickets to the North Carolina Theatre, 2 tickets to the N.C. Museum of Art’s Landscapes from the Age of Impressionism, and 2 tickets to Dinosaurs: Ancient Fossils, New Discoveries at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences.
That seems like a lot to do, especially for two days, but at least you wouldn’t get bored while you were there.Personally I would be more interested in going to the NC Shakespeare Festival. According to the description it is supposed to be hilarious, and I love comedies, so it would be a perfect match. I hope one day that I will be able to go to that festival, it looks interesting to say the least. Too bad it isn’t this year though.
