Avi Arad has reported there will be 3 villains in Spiderman 3, it is known Green Goblin, Venom, and Sandman are confirmed with the Lizard as being reported as the fourth.

Church is the second person to confirm that Venom will be in the movie.

Columbia Pictures is looking to get Bryce Dallas Howard to play Gwen Stacy, which if you are familiar with the comic, is Peter\'s first love, and high school crush. Personally it is dumb, because they have already introduced the character of Mary Jane, and he got the girl, now he\'s gonna be picky and choose another girl? Doesn\'t make sense to me. The studio is reporting that Gwen Stacy will survive the movie, though, which means that Green Goblin will not be in it.

Perhaps they will choose another actor besides Topher Grace cuz he has no muscle mass. That is, if he can develop enough to look like the muscle-bound Eddie Brock that we are all accustomed to.
